Birthday Haul - Perfume, The Body Shop + MAC

 Hullo Ladies!

The month of September was a busy month for me! It was my birthday month :-)

I received lots and lots of lovely goodies!

From my parents I was given this super cute birthday cake! It was so tasty :-)

I was also given this Nails Inc Gel Effect Nail Polish Set :-)

I knew I was going out for a few meals in the month of September so I decided to buy myself a new dress and chose this one by Alice & You from ASOS

From my friends Jess, I recieved this gift set from Bomb Cosmetics. It's the Strawberry one :-) Love it!

From my Nan I was given this Photo Frame!

I really wanted one like this for my bedroom so I was so super happy with it :-)

With the money my Auntie gave me I bought a new Makeup Revolution Blush Palette in Hot Spice!

It's gorgeous :-)

She also gave me a box of chocolates and a gorgeous soft toy rabbit.

My brother took me Shopping and bought me some lovely goodies from The Body Shop as they had a fab £25 off a £50 spend!

I picked three shower gels, three body lotions, two hand creams, a shampoo and a body scrub.

I was also given two three gifts!

The Vitamin E Face Cream and the Warming Mineral Mask :-)

Then a few days later with some of the money I had left I made a few more purchases from The Body Shop. I like to buy in bulk and then use them through out the year!

I bought the Coconut, Mango and She Medium Sets :-)

They had the 40% off code on at the time so they were a lot cheaper than what I would have paid! Bargain!

A week later I took advantage of the Debenhams 10% off beauty offer code and picked up some MAC goodies.

Two Pro Longwear Paint Pots in Painterly and Bare Study.

Three Lipstick in Chatterbox, Lustering and Russian Red.

I was also given some gorgeous new perfumes this year!

Coco Mademoiselle EDP by Chanel, Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf, Stella by Stella McCartney and Light Blue by Dolce & Gabbana.

The Chanel was gift for myself by myself!

Does anyone else do that? Haha!

I was also given a few DVD's this year too :-)

Wayne's World, which I loved as a kid! The Woman In Black, which is one of my favourite horror movies. The first season of The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air & To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar, which is another childhood favourite!

So I was officially spoiled rotten again this year!

I can't wait to review some of these products!

Especially The Body Shop goodies, the MAC stuff and the Perfumes! Yay!

My Birthday Wishlist

Hullo Ladies!

It's my 22nd Birthday Next Month!

Like last year I've created a wishlist :-)

Chanel Coco Mademoiselle EDP -  I got a Chanel Perfume from my brother last year for my 21st and now I've got a taste for them. I love Coco Mademoiselle but it's so expensive so I'm hoping to get it for my birthday.

Stila In The Light Palette -  I keep seeing this palette everywhere this month! It's haunting me! I've read so many great reviews for it so I'm excited to try it out.

Converse All Star Hi Tops in Red - I've wanted a red pair of converse for years!

Nails Inc Gel Nail Polish - I love Nails Inc Nail Polish and I really want to try out their new Gel Formula.

Vera Wang Princess Night Perfume - I finished a bottle of this last year and I've really missed it. I'm nearly all out of the original Princess too! I love both so I can't wait to get a new bottle.

Makeup Revolution Blush and Contour Kit - I've seen so many beautiful pictures of this brand on instagram lately! This palette looks stunning and for £6 you can't go wrong!

Makeup Revolution Blushing Hearts Blusher - This is another product I've been drooling over on instagram! It's a dupe of the too faced blushes for just £5 and they look stunning!

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation - This is another product I have heard so much about but never tried. It's expensive so I'll either buy this or my favourite Double Wear Foundation. It's all according how brave I feel.

MAC Eyeshadow Kit in Warm - Yeah, It's more expensive than most palettes out there but it's still a bargain! Sadly, I highly doubt I'll be getting it. If I don't though, I'll probably buy a new lipstick! Got to love MAC lipsticks!

So there you go!

That's my wishlist :-) HEY......A girl can dream!

REVIEW - MAC - Rebel Lipstick

Hullo Ladies!

I'm been dying to own the MAC Rebel lipstick for ages! I have this idea in my head that If I've wanted a makeup product for more than a few weeks then it's likely to be worth the investment and boy this sure was!

Rebel is a Satin Lipstick from MAC, the website simply calls it a Mid Toned Creamy Plum but it's so much more than that!

It's a dark berry lipstick that just screams sexiness.

The formulation is beautiful, it's creamy, pigmented and goes on super smoothly without clinging to any dry ares.

It also has amazing staying power.

After a good couple of hours it leaves you with a gorgeous even stain that would look stunning just on its own or topped off with a lip balm if you haven't got a mirror to reapply the lipstick!

I can't wait to wear this on a night out with a smokey eye!

You can buy this from Debenhams - HERE - for £15.00

Have you tried Rebel from MAC? Love it or hate it?

May Favourites 2014

Hullo Ladies!

Wow I think this is the latest I've ever posted my monthly favourites!

Anyway It's here now so lets get started :-)

The Body Shop - Vineyard Peach Body Mist - Smells amazing! So refreshing for Summer and lasts surprisingly well for a body mist! If you like fruity scents then I highly recommend you give it a go.

MAC Lipsticks - Flat Out Fabulous and Lady Danger - Both are new purchases and again, perfect for Summer. They're super bright and colourful and I just feel awesome in them! Flat Out Fabulous is a punky bright matte pink and Lady Danger is a yellow toned red that looks amazing on most skin tones!

The Body Shop - Watermelon Born Lippy Lip Balm - Another product that smells absolutely amazing from The Body Shop. I love the Born Lippy Lip Balms, they're moisturizing and always smell amazing and last ages on the lips.  I have most in the collection now and will continue to buy them when I run out :-)

The Balm - Nude Tude Palette - Probably one of my most used palettes of the year so far, its highly pigmented, amazing quality and the packaging is just amazing! The colours range is wide for a neutral palette and you create a range of looks.

The Body Shop - Banana Conditioner - Softens my locks and smells like banana! What more can I say really, except that it's probably my favourite conditioner ever for everyday use and I will continue to purchase it as long as I can!

Real Techniques - Deluxe Crease Brush - Stunning at blending eye shadow/concealer and I use it every time I apply makeup now. It fits perfectly in my eye socket, packs on a lot of products and blends it beautifully.

Barry M - Damson Hi Shine Gelly Nail Paint - A gorgeous blue nail polish that goes on in one coat and stay on for ages! I've been wearing it constantly since I bought it and have a feeling it's going to stay that way for the next few months :-)

So those are all my favourites for the month of May, what has been yours?

My Top 3 MAC Red Lipsticks

Hullo Ladies!

I'm a big lover of red lipstick, I know many girls who find it hard to be comfortable in a red lippy but for some reason I never had that problem, I love wearing a bright lipstick. It's the same with my hair, the redder it is, the sexier I feel!

Some of my favourite and most used red lipsticks happen to be MAC lipsticks.

Today I'm going to be talking about my top 3 :-)

They're not really in order because my favourite, changes constantly but these three in particular are never far from reach.

Starting with Ruby Woo - A Blue Toned Classic Red Shade. It's very matte and can be drying if you don't prep your lips well before hand but the prep pays off as it's one of the most stunning red lipsticks I've ever seen. It suits a range of people and is loved by many.

M.A.C Red - Another Blue Toned Red, this one is a Satin which means its it has a slight sheen to it. Extremely pretty. It was the first expensive red lipstick I bought, I bought it to go to my friends eighteenth birthday party and wore it constantly for ages after that so It holds a lot of memories for me. It's definitely one I suggest if your looking for a blue toned red that's not matte.

Lady Danger - A Yellow Toned Matte Red, It's my newest red lipstick from MAC but has become a quick favorite in the last month. It's amazing on a hot day with your favourite sundress and a pair of sunglasses.

So those are my favourite MAC reds :-)

I definitely suggest trying them out as they are all good quality, long lasting and absolutely gorgeous lipsticks!

What is your favourite red lipstick?

TAG: Youtube Made Me Buy It!

As a beauty blogger and a fan of all things girly. I've been watching the beauty gurus on Youtube for a long time now.

Naked Palette - Probably every beauty guru on Youtube.

I can imagine that every "Youtube made me buy it" post has this one in it. It's become a classic in the beauty comunity and is still reved about today! It was a great purchase and I'm happy I went with what everyone was saying and finally bought it. I used it ever day for a year! I would repurchase.

Too Faced Natural Eye Palette - Eleventh Gorgeous

Another great neutral eye palette, Eleventh Gorgeous talk about this in thier top 5 palette video and I really liked the sound of it. As a big fan of neautral shades I'm happy with both this and the Naked palette but If your not that into neutrals you could go by with only one of them. I would deffenitly repurchase.

La Roche Posay - Tanya Burr

I believe this past year La Roche Posay has become a holy grail brand for many people. I've only been using it for just over a month. It's deffenitly made a difference to my skin and I would repurchase.

MAC Ruby Woo - Grav3yardgirl

I love Bunny and her red lip looks! She (and many other ladies) adore this lipstick and although it's taken my sometime to purchase it i'm glad it did!

Ralph Lauren Ralph & DKNY Be Delicious - Various Guru's

You all know I'm obsessed with perfume and these two perfumes are ones that a few years ago were constantly talked about in Collection Videos. Both seemed to be very popular with american beauty gurus and I really wanted to check them out. I received Ralph for my birthday about two years ago and although it's very fresh and clean smelling, I've noticed I prefer warmer scents so it's not one I would repurchase. DKNY Be Delicious on the other hand is glorious and I love it. I would like to try the other versions in the range first but I will someday repurchase it.

Real Techniques - Pixiwoo - Obviously

I may have first heard about this amazing line of beauty brushes from Pixiwoo because Sam was the creator of them but I've heard them mentioned by many beauty gurus since. Not surprising either. They great, affordable brushes and I want them all!

Maybelline Baby Lips - Eleventh Gorgeous

They've only recently come to the UK but we've been hearing about them from American Beauty Guru's for a long time now. I recently bought my first one and I'm quite impressed, I don't know if I'd repurchase though as I much prefer the Burts Bees Lip Balms.

Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Liner - Tanya Burr

I've been using Bobbi Brown long wear gel liners for over two years now. I was in search for a great gel liner after trying out my friends Maybelline one and not liking them I was happy to pay a bit more for something better. I watched a video by Tanya where she talked about gel liners and she said that Bobbi Brown and Clinique where her favourites. I went with Bobbi Brown because I'd also watched the brand on QVC many times and I new they had great deals on. I will always repurchase this liner!

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation - Pixiwoo

I've been using this foundation for years and love it. I first heard it from the pixiwoo girls and loved how great the coverage looked. I made sure to pick it up a few months later when I was in duty free at the airport. I now get it on my birthday every year. I will always repurchase.

Rimmel Apocolips - Fleur De Force

There was a lot of buzz about these lip lacquers this year, I'm pretty sure I heard about them first from Fleur but everyone was talking about them not long after.  I like them but I don't love them. I can't say I would repurchase them once I run out.

Nails Inc Baker Street - Various Guru's

The most gorgeous blue nail polish EVER created, It's amazing and a lot of guru's agree. It was very popular last Summer and It's my only nail polish that I've nearly gone through. Will be repurchasing!

ELF Blushes - Emilynoel83

I've been watching Beauty Broadcast for a long time now and shes always been a big fan of ELF. At such a inexpensive price I couldn't not try them out and they really are great! I would definitely repurchase them. In fact I have a few I really want to try!

So you can see, Youtube definitely influences what I buy :-)

What have you bought recently after watching Youtube?

21st Birthday Haul :-)

Hullo Ladies!

I've had a great birthday, I found turning 21 very emotional for some reason, whether its because of everything that going on in my family and the scary thought of the future I don't know. One emotion I was glad to feel though was "happiness". I was happy to have a meal and a few drinks with my family. I was especially happy with all the alcohol I consumed on the night, but if you can't get drunk on your 21st, when can you?!   :-D

Gorgeous card made by my Nan for my birthday.

I spent the morning in a pretty average way, opened my birthday cards and then took my mother to the dentist. Then I dyed my mams hair and started getting ready for that night.

Me, My Mam and My Nan.

We had an amazing meal in a local restaurant and it was lovely to see all the family together. I was very spoilt with some lovely gifts and money for the holiday I'm going on in a few weeks.

Some high end gifts I received.

From my brother I received a 100ml bottle of Chanel Chance EDT

From My parents I received :

Peace, Love and Juicy Couture EDP

Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation in Shell.

MAC Retro Matte Lipstick in - Ruby Woo

Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Liner in Black Ink

Eeeeek I can't believe I finally own it, I've wanted this perfume for months.

I think one of the big reasons he bought me it because he was fed up of me talking about it!

I also received this gorgeous Body Shop Strawberry Gift Set from my parents.

From money given to me by family I picked up some products from Boots.

Real Techniques Eye Liner brush and Expert face brush.

La Roche Posay Effaclar A.I breakout Cream

Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation and Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum foundation.

From the money my Auntie gave me I picked up some things from New Look, A gorgeous Mocking Bird dress that's gorgeous for the Autumn, some lovely new hair clips for when I go away and a new pair of tights.

From my best friend Emma, I received a photo frame with a photo of me and her inside it and a lovely book called The Hundred Dresses which I've been reading and It's very interesting and funny.

The next two things where surprises from my parents at the end of the night.

A stunning displaying red wine glass.

A 21 charm bracelet.

I told you I was super spoilt!

I've had a lovely few days and I have to say it's been probably my favourite birthday yet :-)

Hope you have all had a great weekend!

21st Birthday Wishlist!

Hullo Ladies!

My birthdays less than a month away, so like last year, I've decided to make a Birthday wishlist post :-)

1) Chanel Chance

I've been wanting this perfume for ages and whilst out shopping for mothers day a few months back with my brother he promised that he'd get it for my 21st. I plan to do whatever I have to, to make him keep that promise....even if I have to put snakes in his bed....it will happen!

2) MAC Lipstick in Ruby Woo

Ever since I began falling in love with cosmetics and the beauty world, i've heard about Ruby Woo. It's probably one of if not the most famous MAC lipstick. It's a gorgeous red that I need to own!

3) NARS Love Thrill Gift Set

This will probably never happen but yesterday I found this NARS gift set on offer and I think it would be an amazing way to try out the brand.

4) La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo

My skin has been awful over the last year and I can't seem to find a product that does anything to help it. Over the last few months though, I've been hearing more and more about this apparently "holy grail" product for a lot of bloggers and I really want to give it a try!

5) Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation

I ask for this every year, it's my favourite foundation ever. It's great coverage and lasts all day. It's expensive though so I always wait till my birthday to repurchase it, hopefully debenhams will have a 10% off code around that time as well :-)

6) New Look Inspire Peplum Dress

I found this on ASOS last night and for the price it looks awesome! I've become a fan of peplum these last few weeks and I think this dress would be lovely and flattering for my holiday in October.

7) Sleek Sweet Cheeks Blush Palette

I've been wanting this since it came out, all three colours look gorgeous! I'm a big fan of the sleek blushes and hope to pick up a few more soon :-)

8) Inspire Leather Look Jacket

Everyone talks about a leather jackets is a basic essential in everyone's wardrobe but real leather jackets are priced around a £100 and all though I know they're probably worth it and will last for years. I don't want my first want to be that expensive. What if I don't like it after the first couple of weeks? So I found this faux leather on the new look website and I'm definitely going to try it on in store sometime soon.

9) Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Liner

This is my holy grail eyeliner but my pot dried up a few months back and I've been missing it terribly. I'm hoping to pick it up soon, either this or try MAC's blacktrack which I've heard is also a great liner :-)

That's everything I can think of that I'm lusting after for my birthday!

What are you lusting after for you birthday? Or if it's just past, what was your favourite gift?

March Favourites 2013

Hullo Ladies!

It's the end of another month :-)

I can't believe we are a quarter into the year already!

Here are some of the products I've been reaching for continuously in the last four weeks.

 Hair

Aussie Take The Heat Protection Spray - Reviewed Here - I've been using a lot of heat on my hair the last few weeks and I feel like this has been by my side the whole time. I really think it's helps keep my hair protected from the heat and also helps with smoothness and shine.

Percy & Reed Colour & Shine Shampoo and Conditioner - These were free in Glamour Magazine this month and I'm so glad I got to try them, the shampoo really cleanses my hair and the conditioner makes it extra soft! I don't think I'd pay the price for them as they are quite over my budget but they have been a lovely treat for my hair!

 Makeup & Nails

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation - I've been in love with this foundation again this month, I'll be reviewing it soon. It's the first foundation the actually matches my skin colour perfectly!

MAC Fluidline in Rich Ground - Reviewed Here- I just love this liner, it's so gorgeous! It's great for days when you just don't want to wear the usual black or brown. Look's amazing on it's own or with some shadows.

Revlon Lip Butter in Sweet Tart - I recently spoilt myself and bought two Revlon lip butters, I'd been drooling over the range for months but just hadn't taken the leap. I'm glad I finally did, I'm in love with them. I've been wearing Sweet Tart most of this month because it's a gorgeous pop of colour for spring!

Dainty Doll Blush in My Girl - Dainty Doll products have been talked about a lot this month due o Fragrance direct and TK Maxx selling them at amazing discount prices! I picked a few things up from TK Maxx last month *check out the post - Here*  and this gorgeous pink blush was one of them.

GOSH Nail Polish in  Lavender Love -  This is a gorgeous special edition periwinkle blue nail polish from GOSH. I bought it in the Clearance box back last year with a load of other GOSH makeup. I hope they do it again this year as I found some amazing offers :-)  I been loving this colour for Spring. It's bright and looks very flattering on the nails.

 Skin Care

Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes - I usually just use baby wipes to take of my make up as they're a lot less expensive but when I saw these on offer I decided to test them out. I'm really liking them and feel that they give me a more intensive clean than baby wipes.

The Body Shop Strawberry Body Butter - I've been using this as a face cream this month and It's worked wonders on my dry skin but If I don't use it for a few days in a row the flakes come back so I've worked it into my routine now to use just before applying my makeup.

Perfume

Marc Jabobs Oh! Lola EDT - Review Here - A gorgeous perfume for spring, it's fruity and floral but very young a fresh. A unique scent with amazing packaging!

The Body Shop Mango EDT - Some new EDT's have been brought out in all the original Body Shop scents, this is the Mango one and it's smells amazing. I just want to eat my wrist when I apply it! I've gone through loads of it already so I know I'm going to be picking more up when I run out. It's worth checking out next time your in the store!

 Book Of The Month

J R Ward Lover At Last - This is a novel that I've waited four years for. It's a series that interlinks through a large group of vampires. Vampires known as the Blackdagger Brotherhood. If you are into Supernatural romance novels or romance in general then I highly suggest giving this a go. There is some violence, sex and swearing so if that may offend you then you may want to pass. It's a great book though, telling the romance of Qhuinn and Blaylock two male vampires who fall in love. It's the first m/m pairing in the series and the author did it very well. She gave them the Happy Ever After that I've been waiting for :-)

So that's everything I've been loving this month!

Hope you are all having a great Easter!!

Happy Spring!

Beauty Products Worth The Hype #1

Hi Ladies, I've been a rubbish blogger this month. I just haven't had the inspiration or energy to write anything! I've been meaning to do this post in awhile though so I'm hoping it's gonna be my kick start back into daily blogging! Let's hope :-)

Here are some of the products I feel are definitely Worth The Hype!

Urban Decay Naked Palette - One of if not 'The' most famous eye shadow palette's ever made. It's talked about on probably every beauty blog ever created at some point and there's a big reason why. It's stunning. Mine is looking a bit worse for wear as I've used it on a daily basis for nearly two years now. It was my first high end make up purchase and it was well worth the money.

MAC Cremesheen Lipstick in Creme Cup - My first MAC purchase and I'm on my second tube of it now. I keep it for special occasions and this is probably the only MAC product I will be re-purchasing. It's the most gorgeous nude pink. I love to wear it with a strong smokey eye on a night out.

Too Faced Shadow Insurance - When I first got into the whole 'beauty' thing, there was two eye shadow primers that everyone and their mother where talking about on the web. This one and the Urban Decay Primer Potion. I've tried both and I can't really see the difference in either them. They are both amazing at making your eye shadow bullet proof.

Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Liner -  Back about 18 months ago I was obsessed with finding the perfect liner for me and I did. The Bobbi Brown Gel Liners are expensive yet worth it in my eyes. They stay on me right up until I take them off. They go on smooth and dry instantly so I don't get any smudges which is something I hate, especially when you've just taken god knows how long doing your eye shadow!

MAC Studio Finish Concealer - I'd heard a lot about this concealer through the pixiwoo girls on youtube so on my birthday the year before last I picked it up. I love it and It's a great for hiding blemishes and redness. I use something a bit less drying for under my eyes but this is still an amazing concealer.

St Ives Apricot Scrub -I been using the St Ives Facial scrubs for a long time now. So long in fact that the scent of them is very comforting to me......strange I know. They just make my skin feel super soft and help with fighting blemishes! They are also very inexpensive which is always a plus in my book :-)

Burt's Bees Lip Balm - I got into the Burt's Bees lip balm when I bought their lucky dip bag last year. They are probably one of the only lip balms I find actually work on my dry lips. Not just soothing them at the time they're on my lips but keeping them hydrated for a long time after. My favourite's are the original and the mango.

The Body Shop Body Butter - I suffer with dry skin all year round so I always make sure I have a Body Shop Body Butter in the house. I love them. Some more than others but all of them do some form of good for my skin. My favourite ones are the Mango, Shea and Strawberry.

Real Techniques Buffing Brush - My brother bought me the Real Techniques Core Collection for Christmas and I've made good use out of it. The brush I love most is this Buffing Brush. I can understand why so many people love it, it helps me to achieve such a flawless application and as you can see from the dirty brush, I use it very often!

Collection 2000 Cream Puff - These were very popular not so long ago and I managed to pick up the colour Fairy Cake, it's a gorgeous pinky/coral colour. Stunning in the Spring time when you just want a pop of colour to your look. It has great staying power and I don't find them too drying for my lips!

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation  - I reviewed this foundation here - where I talk about it in a lot more detail. All I'll say is that I love this stuff, it makes me feel better about myself when I wear it...which is what makeup is for right?!

Leighton Denny Nail Polish - Supermodel - Not long ago I had an addiction to the QVC beauty channel and I often saw this beautiful shade being painted on many nails! When I found out it was being offered for free with a magazine I ran out looking everywhere for it! It's a gorgeous neutral polish that flatters everyone! When I painted my nan's nails with it she loved it so much that she went online and bought it the same night!

China Glaze - For Audrey - I have a love Audrey Hepburn movies. Sabrina and Roman Holiday are classics. I loved the idea of this being in memory of her and after I saw what the colour looked like I knew I had to have it! It's a stunning and sophisticated Tiffany Blue polish.

Hope you enjoyed this post and if you read it all then good for you!
I know it's been a long one ;-)

Weekly Want's :-)

Hullo Ladies!

Here are some products that I've been obsessing over this week :-)

D&G The One EDP Gift Set  - £38.66 on sale
I've been wanting this perfume for a long time now and I constantly drool over it when I spot it on the Debenhams website. I have so many perfumes that I want to get through first though, maybe I'll put it on my birthday wishlist later in the year!

I feel like I've been seeing this everywhere since it came out! I'm loving matte shades at the moment so I'm itching for this gorgeous palette!

MAC Blacktrack Fluidline      -  £14

My Bobbi Brown eyeliners are starting to dry out :-( *they've lasted me 18 months though!* so I'm in need of a good black gel liner and I've heard great things about this one!

Remington Hair Dryer    -£19.99 on offer

My old hair dryer broke back last year and since then I've just been using my travel one but my hair is so thick and long now that's it's taking me ages to dry my hair with the thing!  Looking at the reviews on the Argos website this looks like a great hair dryer for the price. I'm loving Remington hair tools right now!

Remington Curling Wand  -   £22.99 on offer

I recieved the thinner version of this curling wand for Christmas and I love it, I really want to try a thicker barrel though so hopefully soon I'll be picking this one up!

So that's everything I've had my eye on this week :-)

What have you been wanting??

REVIEW - MAC Fluidline - Waveline

Hullo Ladies,

I'm not really one to wear blue eye products, they just remind me too much of the eighties, even though I wasn't even around!

Another reason for not wearing blue on my eye's is because whilst doing my Art GCSE's I used to sit next to a girl who always wore blue eye shadow and she really didn't know what she was doing with it. Kind of put me off for life....poor girl!

So I don't really know what the hell I was thinking when one day whilst browsing the Debenhams website I decided to buy a blue gel liner. After nearly a year of owning it I'm finally glad I did.

I own one other MAC fluidline called Rich Ground and I love it, when I first tried this one out though I was very disappointed. Once out of the pot it wasn't as pigmented and seemed to go on patchy.

In the pot it looks gorgeous! Dark and purple toned.

It look's quite different when swatched though.

So for a long time I put it away and forgot about it, until recently when I decided to try it out again.

I don't know whats happened, it's still quite patchy but not as much as I remember. I also really love what it looks like on my eyes. Shocking!!

It somehow really makes the colour of my eyes pop.

So I'm not saying I've had a dramatic turn-around and I'm off to buy as many blue eye products that I can get my hands on but I'm definitely open to trying out a few more colours in the future that I might have thought wouldn't work for me :-)

Which is always a good thing!

So I apply two coats to the eye to make sure it's not too sheer or patchy, another thing you could do to make it even more opaque is to go over it with a blue eye shaodow. I don't feel the need to though, I like how it looks on its own :-)

On me, with a good primer, it wears a good 4-5 hours without fading.

Have you tried any of the MAC Fluidlines? Which ones do you love? I really want to try Blacktrack!
