My Birthday Wishlist

Hullo Ladies!

It's my 22nd Birthday Next Month!

Like last year I've created a wishlist :-)

Chanel Coco Mademoiselle EDP -  I got a Chanel Perfume from my brother last year for my 21st and now I've got a taste for them. I love Coco Mademoiselle but it's so expensive so I'm hoping to get it for my birthday.

Stila In The Light Palette -  I keep seeing this palette everywhere this month! It's haunting me! I've read so many great reviews for it so I'm excited to try it out.

Converse All Star Hi Tops in Red - I've wanted a red pair of converse for years!

Nails Inc Gel Nail Polish - I love Nails Inc Nail Polish and I really want to try out their new Gel Formula.

Vera Wang Princess Night Perfume - I finished a bottle of this last year and I've really missed it. I'm nearly all out of the original Princess too! I love both so I can't wait to get a new bottle.

Makeup Revolution Blush and Contour Kit - I've seen so many beautiful pictures of this brand on instagram lately! This palette looks stunning and for £6 you can't go wrong!

Makeup Revolution Blushing Hearts Blusher - This is another product I've been drooling over on instagram! It's a dupe of the too faced blushes for just £5 and they look stunning!

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation - This is another product I have heard so much about but never tried. It's expensive so I'll either buy this or my favourite Double Wear Foundation. It's all according how brave I feel.

MAC Eyeshadow Kit in Warm - Yeah, It's more expensive than most palettes out there but it's still a bargain! Sadly, I highly doubt I'll be getting it. If I don't though, I'll probably buy a new lipstick! Got to love MAC lipsticks!

So there you go!

That's my wishlist :-) HEY......A girl can dream!

Weekly Wishlist #1

So....I admit, I spend way to much of my time window shopping on the net.

I don't seem to be the only one though, I see a lot of these "wishlist" posts on many blogs and I thought I'd do my own!

These are just some of the things I was coveting last week!

It's bloody gorgeous but I just can't afford it right now :-( booo!

I found these on the ASOS beauty sale section!

All those lip glaze's for just £12.50, not a bad deal! I love the Stila lip glaze's I own two that I bought from TK Maxx.

All I can say is...I really need a new one!

I think I've owned my current GHD's for about 6 years now. They're such an investment, I remember my mam having to repeat buy a lot of cheaper brands before we caved for our GHD's, it's was a good decision.

I think this bag would be gorgeous this spring! It's such a stunning colour :-)

I have an addiction to perfumes and a few weeks ago I tried this in Boot's and really liked it. I was very impressed because I don't have much love for the original Lovestruck.

What have you been lusting after recently?

September Favourites!

Hullo Lovely Ladies!

So the month of September was very busy for me, with it being my birthday on the 19th... I done a lot of shopping and product consuming! (always a good thing!)

The Makeup

  • Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation - Received my second bottle for my birthday! My favourite foundation :-)
  • Stila Lip Glaze in Spiced Ginger - Smells amazing and look great over all lipsticks!
  • MAC Viva Glam Gaga 2 - It's taken my a long time to get the courage to wear it out but I've finally fallen n love with this nude lipstick, looks stunning with a dark smokey eye on a night out.
  • Collection 2000 Concealer - Best I've ever tried!
  • I love....Strawberry and Milkshake Lip Balm - Very pigmented giving you a quick pink/nude lip without any fuss. Smells gorgeous!
  • GOSH Velvet Touch Eyeliner in Black Ink - Goes on super smooth and stays all day :-)
  • Maybeline The Colossal Volum Express Mascara - Black - My second tube! I love it.
  • Ecotools Foundation Brush - Bought this out of my birthday money and I'm so glad I did! Will be writing a review soon :-)
  • Bourjois Ombre Eye Shadow in Biege Rose - Gives a lovely glow. I use it as a highlight and an eyeshadow.

The Fragrances

Britney Spears - Midnight Fantasy - Such a beautiful scent, I can wear it all year round. Gorgeous on a winters day and fabulous on a summers night!

Armani - Code  - On of my all time favourite perfumes. Used only on special occasions this is the one I wore on my birthday!!

The Nails

Ciate Bon Bon  - One of my favourite nude polishes, I've been using this a lot this month.

Nails Ink Cheyne Walk - I've had this for a few months now but I'm only now starting to love it! It's very unique and I've had lots of compliments!

The Bath and Body

Soap and Glory Clean on Me Shower Gel - great to use when shaving as it's very moisturising.

N-SPA - Gingerbread Latte Bath Syrup - Ohh when do I ever not love this Shower Gel???...I'm running out so I hope they bring it back again this winter!

The Body Shop Shea Body Butter - My all time favourite Body Shop Body Butter. Sorts out any dry skin problems!

Soap and Glory The Righteous Butter - Smells lush and gives you silky soft skin!

The DVD's

Red Dwarf Series Box Sets...in preparation for the upcoming new series!!!

These are my brothers DVD's but he's nice enough to lend them to me whenever I get the hankering to laugh my head off!

The Books

E L James - Fifty Shades Trilogy - Okay..you may make fun but I read these books a long time ago, before all the hype...I loved them then and I love them now. Ana and Christians relationship is addictive...and HOT! Whats not to love? So it's not brilliantly written but its a nice light read when you need to take your mind off something...escapism at its best!

JR Ward - Black Dagger Brotherhood Series - this is another series I like to escape into..J R Ward's been writing these books for a long time and I've treasured every one of them. You don't just fall in love with just one character  You fall in love with them all. If you are a fan of Paranormal Romances then this is a series you really shouldn't miss!

I know...I went a bit overboard but I just couldn't stop myself!

I'm looking for a new book to read, any suggestions??

REVIEW- Stila Plumping Lip Glaze - Melon Mint

Hey Hunnies!

So I've picked up a few Stila Lip Glazes in the last few months, thanks to Tk Maxx and I've been using them a lot so I thought I'd start doing some reviews on them now.

First up is Melon Mint, which is a plumping Lip Glaze.

I like to think the colour is a pale coral, almost nude.

I don't think it plumps my lips exactly but I do get that minty tingle when I wear it for some time, It's not as bad as some other plumping lip glosses *I'm talking to you Soap and Glory* but more of a cool feeling.

The applicator is a lovely, thick brush. You have to twist the end of the of the tube for it to release into the brush which I really like, although I have to watch that I don't twist too much!

The smell is...okay. It has this fresh, fruity scent whilst also having some mint to it. I haven't smelt anything like it in a lip product before so that's nice but I wouldn't say it's my favourite lip product fragrance either.

What is great though is that the scent changes with most of the Stila Lip Glazes, I have a ginger one that I adore! So don't be put off with the fact that you might not like the smell of one because you may love another.

I love the way the this looks on my lips, I lightens them and gives my a slight shimmer too.

It has a quite thick consistency which took me some time to get used too.

This Lip Glaze probably lasts me a few hours if I'm not eating or drinking but if I am then I like to re-apply soon after :-)

If your in the UK you can buy Stila from a few places :- their website and also Asos.

Hope you have all had a great day :-)

Shopping Haul

Hullo Ladies,

I went shopping with my nan this afternoon and I picked up a few things. I was warned before I got in the car that I was not to buy "Just Nail Polish!" the woman just doesn't understand my obsessions :-)

So first we went to New Look and they have a sale on right now! Yay!

This gorgeous zebra necklace was originally £6 but was half price so I got it for just £3

This bracelet was originally £2.99 but I got it for a £1

In Boots I picked up these Barry M polishes, I really needed a base coat so I picked up their "3 in 1" and I have been craving the colour Indigo for a while now :-) Sadly they didn't have the new Barry M shades there - only the magnetic ones but the new magnetic trend just isn't doing it for me at the moment.

Then we stopped in TK Maxx and I picked up this nail file for £2.99. It's a great size to keep in my hand bag :-)

I searched the cosmetics stand in TK Maxx for ages and just couldn't find anything I really liked the look of  so I decided I would just buy the nail file but when I went to the counter to pay, I noticed these lovelies. Just like in the TK Maxx in Cardiff last week, they had a set of three Stila products for just £7.99.

They are very pretty colours, There is a copper, a chocolate and a nude shade.

I have a few Stila Lip products now and I'm thinking of doing some reviews on the ones I love the most!

Have you been shopping lately? Bought anything nice?

Thanks, Linzi xx

Shopping Haul :-)

Hey Ladies!

Sorry about the pictures but my parents are away and I said they could take my camera so I have had to use my phone for this post! I went shopping in Cardiff today which is really unusual for me and I only do it about twice a year so I was excited to see what was new in the beauty section of TK Maxx since I was there last Christmas.

The only brand in my whole Haul that I have tried before is Bomb Cosmetics so I'm really looking forward to seeing what these brands are like.

I managed to spend all my money in there and got a few great sets :-)

I had this Stila set for £7.99 and it included a sharpener, lip glaze, a moisturising lip tint and lip glaze stick. I used to watch a lot of Pinkiecharm's videos on Youtube and she loves the Stila Lip Glaze so I'm really excited to try it out :-)

The top swatch in the Lip Glaze Stick in Brown Sugar, The middle swatch is the Moisturising Lip Tint in Wine and the bottom swatch is the Lip Glaze in Spiced Ginger.

These are the Essie nail polishes I managed to pick up but the names on the bottom seem to be wrong sadly.
The name on the bottom of the pink is Tangerine, and the other two say Capri, I searched for Tangerine and like I suspected they are totally opposite colours. Any help with finding out their true names from you Essie lovers out there would be amazing :-)
This set was £9.99

I also found the Color Club Set in Glitter Vixen which was £7.99 it has some amazing colours, in which I can't wait to try out!

I also bought another Bomb Cosmetics soap from a local shop :-)

There was also a lovely set there from Leighton Denny which was really pretty but I had run out of money and really wanted the Essie set  :-)

So there is my new haul, I really need to calm down with the nail polish :-)

Thanks, Linzi xx
