Holiday Clothing - Pieces I'm taking with me!

Hey Ladies!

Today I'm showing you what I'm taking on holiday with me - clothing wise :-)

WARNING - The Following Post Contains many Dresses.

New Look Dress -  Kelly Brook Collection

£13 in Sale

This is a recent find that I haven't had time to haul. I picked it up in a recent sale, I wasn't sure whether to purchase it because I don't usually like fleshtones on me because I'm so pale but I dressed it up with black tights and my black leather jacket and it looked great :-)

New Look Skater Dress

£14.99

This is a dress I received from my Aunty for my 21st Birthday.  I wore it recently and really loved how it looks.

New Look Playsuit

£14.99

I bought this months back at the beginning of the Summer. I think I'm going to be wearing this around the pool. It's easy to put on and off when I get it and out of the pool and I can imagine it would dry quickly too.

New Look

Aztec Maxi Dress £16.99

My brother bought me this in the Summer, whilst we were shopping for a Birthday present for my Dad. It's a gorgeous maxi dress that is very flattering on.

New Look Belts

2 for £2.99

New Look Dress

£14.99

A great summer dress I bought a few months back, It's so pretty with my denim jacket and a brown belt!

New Look

£14/99

Another gorgeous summer fress from New Look, I'm really happy with the dresses from New Look this year. They brought out some stunning ones! You can tell, by the amount I've purchased! Hehe!

Dorothy Perkins

£20 in Sale

I bought this in Outfit a few months back and I'm in love with the fit. It looks crappy hanging up on the hanger but I feel so bloody sexy in it. I could have filled out the butt better but like all the women in my family I'm kind of lacking in that department. Sigh....

New Look Shirt

£9.99

I bought this to wear with the skirt below. It's your every day aztec print vest that looks great dressed up and dressed down.

Dorothy Perkins Peplum Skirt

£7 in Sale

Before this summer, I don't think I own one skirt but lately I'm in love with them. I picked this up in the Dorothy Perkins Sale in Outfit and I'm so happy I did. It's another piece that I feel super sexy wearing!

ASDA Tights and Bikini

Sheer Black Tights - £3.50 (these are okay, not great, my Mam likes them enough though so she's taking them!)

Hazelnut Tights - £2 (Really like these! Great for the price )

Bikini - £5.00

I've never worn a bikini in public but everytime I go on holiday I look around and get really jealous about all the pretty bikini's everyones wearing so this time I bought a cheap one to experiment with. I'm also taking my usual bathing suit too, just incase I don't like the bikini!

New Look Skirt

£9.50

Another gorgeous skirt that I'm taking! I love this one I picked it up in the ASOS sale (they sell New Look too!) I've worn it lots of times already and it's great!

Primark Maxi Dress

£10

Another gorgeous maxi dress and for £10 you can't go wrong. I could have chosen one a few sizes down because it's super stretchy. I love it anyway though and guess what?! It has pockets!!!

ASOS Curve

£16.50

This was my Birthday dress and I adore it, It's unique and comfy but looks sexy too :-)

ASOS Curve

£12.50

Thius is my new Little Black Dress, I haven't worn it yet but I'm really looking forward to wearing it! I'm matching it with my kimono!

I knew I needed it as soon as I saw it. I think it would looking lovely with the summer dresses from New Look and my denim jacket :-)

ASDA

Denim Jacket

I was searching for a denim jacket for most of Spring and Summer and found this gorgeous one on sale in ASDA for just £9. It's supper comfy isn't too thick or too thin. Perfect!

New Look Kimono

£19.99

I almost nearly didn't pick it up because of principles. I was pissed that New Look was selling exactly the same thing in the Inspire range but for a higher price. My nan made me pick it up in the end, I'm glad though because I really do love it. I'll just have to settle for writing them an angry email! Hehehe! Joke!

Belts

 ASDA - Glitter Belts 2 for £3

New Look - Waist Belts

In Sale £3-£6

I'm in love with belts recently as well and picked up these lovely ones over the last few months.

I've been wearing these everywhere! I've never owned a pair of ankle boots and I think they look amazing with a dress and a pair of tights :-)

Open Toed Heel

Another gorgeous dress I'm taking with me. Again from New Look!

So there you go, practically everything I'm taking with me on holiday!

This time tomorrow I'll be in Portugal, probably sitting on the viranda drinking a tia maria :-)

Saturday Shopping Haul

Hi Ladies!

I went shopping this morning after taking Monty to the vets, hes got a bad ear infection poor thing, so we stopped at pets at home and got him some extra treats and a new cuddly toy. While my dad took him for a quick walk I stopped in a few shops.

First I went to Asda Direct as I noticed some things in the sale. I picked up some wet look leggings for sale for £4 and a cool Marvel T-shirt for £3.

New Look £19.99

So you may know that I'm going on Holiday in October and I've been thinking about what shoes to take.

I've bought a lot of dresses for both day and night, I told my nan I wanted to take something like these boots and she looked at me like I was from another planet.  I'm going in October and I'm obviously going to take sandals as well. So am I crazy to think that these would be nice for the night time, instead of heels?

It doesn't really matter because I've wanted something like these for ages, so they'll get good use.

The other thing I got from New Look is this monochrome dress for £14.99.

I've picked up a few of these dresses from New Look this Summer and I love them.

They're gorgeous and great quality.

I picked this up on my last shopping trip with my Mam and Nan but put it back for some strange reason. Then as soon as I came back it kept popping up on some plus size blogs I follow. So I obviously got really jealous and felt like an idiot. I was luckily enough to find the last dress in the store.

I love it!

Next my dad gave me an early birthday gift, his contract was up, so he gave me a IPhone 4S.

He also bought me this cute phone case from New Look too :-) I've been super spoiled already!

Just to quickly add on to this haul, earlier in the week I ordered this La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo from Escentuals.com . My skin has been awful these last few months and all I seem to be hearing about recently is this brand and this particular product so I thought I'd give it a go. I'll be making up dates over the next few weeks on it :-)

Hope you're all having a great weekend!

Christmas Gift Ideas - For Him -£20 or Under

So Christmas can be a stressful time, that's why I try to do most of my shopping in November so that I can relax and enjoy the amazing month that December can be :-)

I find the males in my family the hardest to buy for so the last few weeks I've been taking my time trying to decide what to get my brother and father.

Here are a few of my ideas!

The Godfather DVD Box Set

Image was taken from Amazon.co.uk
£9 with free P&P
 HERE

I think it must be programmed into men to love The Godfather films. I've never actually watched one...Opps!

An Idiot Abroad By Karl Pilkington

Image taken from Amazon.co.uk
 £5.12 with free P&P
 HERE

The Further Adventures Of An Idiot Abroad By Karl Pilkington

Image taken from Amazon.co.uk
 £8.54 with free P&P
 HERE

I'm a big fan of reading, dyslexia runs in my family and getting my dad and brother to read a novel has been real tough. The last few years my brother has come so far with his reading and I'm extremely proud of him. In all my twenty years though I have never seen my dad read a book but I'm still optimistic and maybe something as crazy funny as the Karl Pilkington books will give him the nudge he needs :-)

Next Cufflinks

 Image taken from Next.co.uk
 £13
 HERE

I find nothing smarter than a man wearing a good shirt and a pair of cufflinks  For the price these are lovely and next have a large range of different cufflinks  Ranging from Looney Toones to Coca Cola Caps. You can also buy a lovely Leather cuff links box to keep them in.

Topman Fragrance Gift Set

Image Taken From Boots.com
£20

I didn't know Boots sold Topman goodies but it was a lovely surprise when I saw this set last week whilst shopping. I think the hat is so cute and I'm really interested on what the fragrance would smell like!

The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air Season One DVD

Image taken from Amazon.co.uk
£5.99 with free P&P
HERE

For as long as I can remember great shows like Red Dwarf, The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air and Blackadder have been a constant presence in my life. I still know all the lyrics to The Fresh Prince but my family have never owned any of the actual DVD's so to be able to have it at hand would be great as I don't see them on repeat that often anymore. Not as much as it used to be anyway.  I know for a fact my brother would love to have this in his DVD collection!

Well I hope this helps someone who's finding it hard to choose a gift!

Hope you have all had a great Saturday :-)

Recent Haul (10/10/12) Boots, New Look & Magazine Freebies

Hullo Lovely Ladies!!

So this is my most recent haul post.

Today  I went shopping with the family to pick up some things...It wasn't long before we all realised we were searching for the same thing....perfume! We ended up spending most of the day in Boots. Which I have no problem with as its a favourite hobby of mine to try to test every fragrance in the store :-)

They have some amazing perfume offers on at the moment so I suggest you go take a look here if you're on the lookout for a new one :-)

I picked up this Giorgio Armani perfume called Idole d'Armani

It's a gorgeous scent. It was also half price!

I bought the 50ml EDP for £29

My Mam and Nan both picked up Anais Anais which was also on offer :-)

We stopped in New Look which I have to say is one of my favourite clothing stores. I'm always buying something from there.

Sadly they didn't have a lot of sale products left in the store but me and my mam noticed they had a good deal on socks. As it's getting colder now, socks are a must for me.

You get to pick 3 pairs you like for just £4.

I also did some Ebay shopping last weekend and one of the product came in the post this morning.

I've been obsessing over the company Demeter for a long time now. It's understandable when they have scent names such as "Dirt" "Thunderstorm" and "Gin and Tonic

I finally found a couple on Ebay. Sex On The Beach and Wild Blackberries. Wild Blackberries hasn't got here yet but I hope to god I like it more than Sex On The Beach.

I won't go too much into it now as I'm going to be reviewing them soon. Lets just say I'm not as happy with it as I had hoped!

Today I also Picked up some Magazines.

Marie Claire and Instyle.

Marie Claire this month are giving away:
  • A free 30ml L'Occitane Hand Cream *four scents to choose from* I choose Mango Flower. It smells gorgeous!
  •  50ml tube of Dove Colour Radiance Conditioner.

InStyle are giving free 4ml samples of Benefit products you have a choice of :

  • Cha Cha Tint
  • Sun Beam
  • Benetint

Also last week I made a post asking you all what your favourite perfume was,  I had some amazing comments so I just want to say thank you very much ladies!

I now have a good idea on what my next few perfume purchases will be!

You may have also noticed from the first picture a box of Galaxy Minstrels.....what can I say? It just had to be done ;-)

Hope you have all had a great day!

Birthday Haul Part 2 (New Look Sale!! Perfume and more!)

Hullo Lovely Ladies!!

So this is the final part of my Birthday Haul and its mainly focused on clothing. I don't think I've ever blogged about clothes before so this is a first!

For the last week New Look has been having one of their sales. A lot of people don't purchase from sales because they believe that the items that are on sale are the things no one wants or are out of trend, I have to disagree. Especially when it comes to New Look. I don't know how many times me or a family member has bought something from New Look and the next week its half price, which can be very frustrating!!

So for the last year or so I've been trying to only purchase clothing from their sales, I'm pretty sure this is their Autumn sale as their Summer one was not so long ago and the clothes that are on offer seem to be very Autumn-y??? O.o

To be honest, seasonal trends don't really matter to me. There is no doubt that I'll be wearing these year round :-)

Dorothy Perkins

For a few weeks now I've been seeing this type of necklace on a lot of blogs and beauty gurus channels, one is particular is Graveyardgirl who is my absolute favourite! She's been wearing a necklace like this in her last few videos and I've been dying to get my hands on one.

I was lucky enough to find this on sale for just £1... Such a bargain :-D

£1

Diva

I also picked up these gorgeous beauties for a £1 too!!!

Boots

My best friend Emma gave me a £10 voucher for Boots so after looking and looking I decided to use it for this Michael Kors Perfume....It smells amazing. I'm not usually a fan of floral scents but this is a beauty and I'm putting it on everything...my clothes, my pillows...even my curtains!!!

It's a 50 ml bottle and the packaging is gorgeous! It looks amazing with the rest of my perfume collection :-)

I've been spoilt rotten this year! I doubt I'd need to buy anymore clothes for some time :-)

Hope you have all had a great day!

I'm off to watch Celebrity Juice :-P
