Hullo Ladies!

I just popped into my local Spar and noticed these lovely magazine freebies!

I picked up Marie Claire and Glamour.

Marie Claire are giving away a choice of three Ciate Nail polishes, I picked up Bon Bon *cutest name ever!* which is a lovely nude colour :-) It was the only one left, I'm hoping to pick up another sometime soon!

Glamour are giving away a choice of Benefit products :-)

You can choose between Bad Gal Lash *Mascara*, The Porefessional *Pore Balm* or That Gal *Face Primer* They're tiny sizes but for £2 you cant go wrong as these are some very popular Benefit products!
I picked up the Porefessional :-)

I also noticed the RED are giving away Jemma Kid eyeliners but I thought two magazine in one go was quite enough :-)

I'm also waiting for the new Instyle as they're giving away a choice of The Body Shop goodies :-)

Hope this helped in some ways! What are you going to choose?

New Haul! Includes (Nails Inc, N-SPA and Bourjois)

Hullo Beautiful People :-)

I have a haul for you today!

"Piccadilly Arcade, Baker Street, Mayfair Mews, Royal Mews, Belgrave Mews, Wilton Row, Cadogan Place"

In the last week QVC have been doing some great Nails Inc Collections and this is Ahead of the Trend a seven piece collection featuring the very popular Baker street!

This set was £25.74, If you went into a Nails Inc Salon and asked for seven nail polishes you would be paying at least £77!

"Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover"

Okay..so in the end, I jumped on the band wagon!

It was the last one in the shop and I wanted to see what all the fuss was about! I have tried it a few times these last few days and I really like it, It leaves your fingers smelling lovely! Is it worth£4.99...I don't know yet, I'll get back to you on that one! :-)

"N-SPA's Ruby Orange and Mango Butter Shower Sorbet"

In ASDA this week I picked up a few bath and body products and this is one of them, they're on offer for a £1 right now which Is amazing because I've used them before and they're really great and moisturizing.

"Alberto Balsam Coconut and Lychee Shampoo and Conditioner"

So I have been loving the Alberto Balsam Shampoo and Conditioners lately, they smell so good and they don't irritate my scalp too much :-)
I bought these for £1 each from ASDA

This is the last thing I picked up in ASDA and was just £1.50

It smell's delicious. a very sweet, creamy coconut scent!

It's not like The Body Shop's Coconut Shower cream which is a very true coconut scent but if you just want something cheap and sweet then this is great!

Hope you enjoyed my haul! Can't wait to write some reviews!

Hope you have all had a good day!

Thanks, Linzi xx

My Favourite Red Polish for the Summer :-)

To me red is such a sexy nail polish to wear, I don't wear it as often as I should! :-)

My favourite red polish for the summer months is Nails Inc's Bennet Street which is a rich tomato red.

I usually can't wear tomato reds, whether it's lipstick or nail polish, because I have such pink toned skin it just doesn't look good but I find this really compliments my skin tone :-)

I received this is a QVC set for my 19th Birthday last year, I only really get Nails Inc from QVC unless they're free in a magazine.

It's quite a sheer colour and needs about three coats.

I find Nails Inc polishes have a real glossiness to them, I didn't use top coats in any of these photos and you can really see the great shine to them :-)

Do you have a favourite summer red? What is it?

REVIEW - Batiste - Dry Shampoo

Hullo beautiful people!

I refrained from buying this for the longest time because as a woman with a sensitive scalp I was worried that I would have some sort of reaction either a heck load of dandruff or a itchy scalp...maybe even the possible horror of both!

Sadly I'm also a woman with naturally greasy hair so about six months ago when I was fed up with having to wash my hair everyday, I caved.

To me this is a holy grail product!

It's a god send because now I'm not worried about stepping out of the house in between wash days. I also do not suffer from any reaction, although I make sure I wash my hair the same night I use the product, I wouldn't want to leave it for any longer.

I buy the Tropical scented one as it smells amazing and I like the thought of my hair smelling like Coconut!

Apparently you can also use this product to gain volume, by lifting sections of your hair and spraying this underneath. I haven't tried this because I already have quite thick wavy hair.

When I use it I don't do anything fancy, just spray on my roots, making sure the bottle is 30cm away from my head like the bottle instructs you :-)

Your hair then turns a powdery white colour which goes when you brush your hair.

They have lots of different versions and scents so there's plenty of choice if you don't fancy the tropical one so don't worry!  They even have some now with gold shimmer added to it, lovely for summer nights out :-)

I picked up this 200ml today because I ran out on the weekend and I was happy to find that Superdrug have a sale on them right now, I only payed £1.45 for this bottle which is usually priced at £2.99.

I'm hopefully going back tomorrow to get a few more, maybe try a new scent!

Have you tired this product? Love or Hate?

Thanks, Linzi xxx

NOTD - OPI - Strawberry Margarita

Hey All!

It's a lovely sunny Monday today and I fancied a really bright colour and choose this OPI polish, I don't have many OPI polishes. One full size and four minis. This is a mini which I usually keep for my toes so they last me longer but I decided to go for a change today and really like how it looks!

I received this in a set from QVC late summer last year :-)

Its a lovely hot pink...almost neon colour.

It took three coats to get good coverage.

I'm really thinking about getting this is a full size bottle as I cant see it lasting me much longer if I continue to use it on my nails.

I'm sorry for the dodgy application but I find it hard to apply my polish with the tiny brushes you get with the mini's!

I used the Barry M 3 in 1 for a base coat, then three layers of Strawberry Magarita and Seche Vite top coat.

Monty loved the colour as much as me :-)

This was a treat as Monty doesn't usually let me catch his face on camera, I think hes a bit insecure about the size of his nose!

Hope you have all had a lovely Monday!

Thanks, Linzi xxx

REVIEW - Mango Body Butter By The Body Shop

Hullo Ladies!!

I'm reviewing The Body Shop's Mango Body Butter today, The Body Shop are famous for their body butters, with scents like Moringa, Strawberry, Shea, Coconut, Grape Seed, Satsuma and Mango.

They group their body butters by skin types, they have Normal, Normal/Dry and Very Dry.

Mango is for Very Dry Skin, which is exactly what I need in a moisturizer.

It sinks into your skin without leaving a greasy residue.

Although I think this would have too much moisture for those with oily to normal skin. You would probably be better off picking another body butter that better suits your skin type.

This is my second tub and I will keep buying it.

It has an amazing mouth watering scent.

When I wear this for weeks at a time I can really see and feel a great improvement in my skin.

I like to use this mostly on my arms as I find they are the driest part of my body.

It's very creamy and has a yellow tint to it :-)

This,  the Shea Butter and the Satsuma Butter are my favourite Body Butters and I would always recommend them :-)

What's your favourite Body Butter?

Thanks, Linzi xxx

Cute Flower Manicure

Hey beautiful people!

I did some nail art last night whilst watching the Eurovision *I know..Okay* Don't judge me!

Here it is :-)

I love how pretty and cute it is!

Here's what inspired me, I love the pastel blue with pink flowers.

I have seen this pattern a lot lately.

This is my nail polish box that I bought from TKMAXX for £3.99 :-)

For the Base colour I used Barry M Blue Moon which took four coats to become opaque and even.

I don't mind layering my polish because painting my nails is something that calms and relaxes me so I really love this colour.
If you hate layering polish then this one isn't for you as it's very sheer.

"Seche Vite top coat, Barry M Matt White, Barry M Pink Flamingo, Barry M white Blue Moon, Barry M Spring Green."

For the accent finger I used my new dotting tools, first making two small flowers with Pink Flamingo and and Matt White, then the Spring Green for the leaves.
Then after waiting some time for it to dry I used my Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat.

I really love this mani, although when asking my mam what she thought she said "are they rainbows" I'm putting that down to her not wearing her glasses though....do you think they look like flowers or rainbows?  hehe

Hope you all had a great weekend!

Thanks, Linzi xxx

REVIEW - China Glaze - For Audrey

Hullo Beautiful ladies :-)
I'm reviewing the lovely China Glaze For Audrey today, yes I only bought it last week but since then I have fallen in love. This is probably my favourite nail polish EVER.

China Glaze released this as a tribute to Audrey Hepburn, It's nearly an exact replica of the blue that Tiffany's use, apparently Tiffany's own the actual colour but China Glaze got it as close as they could.

I have always loved Audrey Hepburn movies, Breakfast at Tiffanys being just one of them :-) my favourite is Sabrina!

This has great pigmentation, giving you bottle colour in just two coats.

I found it dried fairly quickly and is glossy enough without needing a top coat, although I applied Seche Vite  just to see how it looked :-)

I used Barry M 3 in 1 as my Base coat, two coats of For Audrey and Seche Vite Fast Drying Top Coat.

This is what I would call an elegant blue, I received many compliment whilst wearing it.

I wore it for about three days this week which is a record for me as I usually get bored of a nail polish by the end of the day :-)

I really think this would suit a lot of people, even if they don't usually wear blue nail polish. It's a very refined and classy nail colour.

I would definitely recommend this colour, to me it's beautiful!

Have you tried China Glaze polish? Which is your favourite colour?

A Man and His Torch ;-) + NOTD

So I went to my Aunt's house today with the whole family to watch the Olympic Torch go by!

There he is..took bloody ages to get here....running?? More like slow walking :-) hehehe

It's been a great day in the boiling heat!

"Barry M Coral and Barry M Cyan Blue"

This is what I'm wearing on my nails today, it wasn't for the torch or anything because I didn't now I was going to see it but I wanted something for this lovely summer heat we have been having lately and I think this fits the bill! :-)

My camera went bonkers trying to photograph Coral, this is the only picture in the lot that I took where it didn't look all that red!

NYC - Lavender Cupcake and Comparison

Hullo Ladies!

Months back I bought a few NYC nail polishes and this is one of them.

It's called Lavender Cupcake and it's a cool toned violet colour.

It's a lovely colour for Spring and Summer :-)

It dried fairly quickly and took only two coats to be opaque.

When I wore it the other day I thought it may be a dupe for Barry M's Barry Ice Cream so I tried them both on to compare.

"Barry M - Berry Ice Cream and NYC - Lavander Cupcake"

"NYC - Lavander Cupcake and Barry M - Berry Ice Cream"

Silly me I photographed them backwards!!!

You can probably tell that Lavender Cupcake is a lot more cool toned while Berry Ice Cream is quite warm.

I love them both :-)

I wouldn't hesitate to pick up another NYC polish if I fancied one of their colours, as they dry quickly and are inexpensive.

Have you tired any NYC polishes? Love or Hate them?

Thanks, Linzi xx

Mini Haul - NOTD - Barry M

Hullo Ladies :-)

I had a few things in the post today and also created a new Manicure! It's not brilliant but its good for me and my limited artistic skills :-P

I know what your thinking ..."Linz...why the hell did you get THREE bottles of Seche Vite???"

Well there's an explanation for that! QVC do this great trio set for just £18 something which I thought was brilliant and they're bound to last me a long time!

The only thing I might have to buy is that RESTORE thing you can get to thin it out, so It doesn't get gloppy!

I also bought these dotting tools from Amazon which I used for my NOTD!

Onto the NOTD!

"Barry M Back, Barry M Shocking Pink, Barry M Block Orange, Barry M Lemon Ice Cream, Barry M Spring Green, Barry M Cyan Blue, Barry M Matt White"

I used all these Barry M Nail Paints, I needed great pigmentation and I knew I would get it with these!

They're Bows! In case you couldn't recognize them hehe

Half way through the adventurous part of me was like "Ohh if we just add little antenna's on their heads they could be Butterflies!" and the sane side of me was like "WHAT? No! Don't be insane you're not that good! Who told you that you could step outside of the box misses!"

Sorry for that little look into my psyche! :-P

Hope you have all had a great day!

Thanks, Linzi xx

Review - Gingerbread Latte - N-SPA Bath Syrup

Hullo wonderful people!

I'm going to talk about N-SPA's Gingerbread Latte Bath Syrup today, I've been using this since the beginning of the year. I picked it up because at the time I was addicted to Starbucks' overpriced Gingerbread Latte's and this smells just the same! Yay!

My first bottle, I got on offer in the post-christmas sales in a small set, this was my favourite out of the four mini bottles. It has impressing lasting power, lingering on your skin for some time after your bath/shower.

It's a sweet, spicy scent that's luxurious and creamy. It goes into your bath like syrup and gives you bubbles galore!

I bought my bottle from ASDA.

I'm pretty sure that its £4 for a full 500ml bottle but I bought this one on offer for just £2.

Its a great treat for your senses, if you want something sweet and has a bit of bite then this is what I would recommend :-)

Some of the other scents you can choose from in this collection are "Chocolate Waffle" "Angel Cake" "Hot Butter Fudge" "Chocolate Orange" and "Cranberry Chocolate"

How are we supposed to choose with such amazing scents???

And remember kids...."DO NOT EAT, THIS IS NOT A FOOD PRODUCT" :-P

Have you tried any of these? Whats your favourite?

Thanks, Linzi xx

First try of Ombre Nails :-)

Hullo Beautiful Ladies!

Today for those who are taking part of Twinsie Tuesday its Ombre Day and though I am not part of this challenge I thought I would join in as I've never tried this trend before :-)

I really love how it turned out!

This is a mani that I could probably wear for longer than a day, which how long my usual manicures last
 :-)
I really like it, It reminds me of when I was younger and used to paint my nails all different crazy colours *which I still do* but in a moor mature way...kind of!

Most of my nails where just two coats except the ring finger and pinky finger, they needed three.

Thumb - Barry M Indigo - Index Finger - Barry M Cyan Blue - Middle Finger - Blueberry Ice Cream - Ring Finger - Nails Inc Bluebell - Pinky Finger - Barry M Blue Moon

It's like a tribute for my love of the colour blue and Barry M :-P hehe

Also last night my followers went up to 50 and my page views past 2000, I'm so happy!
Thank you all so much :-)

Back to the mani, do you like this trend? What colours do you like to use when creating a Ombre Manicure?

Thanks, Linzi xx

Unknown Essie Polish...Any Help?

I bought these three Essie polishes in a set from TKMAXX a few weeks ago but when I got them home I realised the names on the bottom wasn't their true names, same with the Color Club Set I bought. Luckily a lot of people seemed to have picked up the same Color Club set as me so I finally found out all their names but I'm still looking for the true names of the Essie set.

I'm pretty sure they are real Essie polishes as I can't see TKMaxx selling fakes.

Any of you Essie lovers have any Ideas?

This is a dark chocolate brown colour, very pigmented as the picture above is just one coat of polish.

This is a bright pink colour with a cream/jelly finish, at first I thought It might have been Cute As A Button when I noticed it in Boots the other day but having checked Google for some swatches, It doesn't look all that similar.

This was the hardest one to photograph, its a sheer off white colour with pink and gold shimmer running through it. Nothing much on its own but beautiful layered over other polish.

I hope you can see the slight shimmer?
It's a very unusual polish and I haven't seen anything like it before so I'm hoping its one someone will notice instantly.

This is what the colours look like when layered with the off white polish.
See how it turns the brown almost into a  purple?

I would be very grateful if anyone could help :-)

Hope you have all had a great Monday!

Thanks, Linzi xx
