The Body Shop HAUL and More (Skin Care, Perfume, Hair + Baby Lips!)

Hullo Ladies!

It's been awhile since I did a body shop haul, especially as it's one of my favourite stores!

You may know already but I've been having some trouble with blemishes so I decided to purchase some products from The Body Shop as I'd heard some great things :-)

The products I knew I wanted to try was the Tea Tree Line. All for blemished skin.

From L- R - Tea Tree Face Mask, Tea Tree Oil, Tea Tree Toner, Tea Tree Facial Wash, Tea Tree Pore Minimiser.

I'm also obsessed with masks at the moment so I made sure to pick up a few more to try.

I choose the Seaweed Ionic Clay Mask and the Blue Corn 3 in 1 Deep Cleansing Mask.

I've tried them all out already and will be reviewing shortly.

Also while in The Body Shop I took advantage of my £5 birthday gift and picked up a few of the EDT's

Shea, Mango and Satsuma.

I stopped in Asda as well and picked up a few things.

L'Oreal Preference Hair Colour, Herbal Essences Bee Strong Shampoo and Conditioner and I finally picked up one of the Baby Lips from Maybelline in Pink Punch.

It's my Birthday tomorrow so I apologize in advance if you don't hear from me in awhile...or I might surprise you and do some blogging straight away as I'm really excited about some of the things I'm having. I know most of them because I went shopping last weekend with my brother ;-)

Hope You All Have A Great Week :-)

My Favorite Beauty Products of 2012

Hullo Lovely Ladies :-)

I know I'm late in writing up one of these posts but I thought I'd give my opinion anyway!

I tried taking pictures of all the products together yesterday but due to the horrible weather and lighting I've decided to just post up the pictures I already have of the products.

I've picked one product from each beauty category that I've fallen in love with this year :-)

Starting with.....

My Favourite Perfume

Armani Code For Women

This time last year I managed to find this Armani perfume on a great offer in Boot's, just £19 for the 30ml gift set and it was instant love! I've used it all year. It's been my signature scent. I'm running out now....but luckily I was smart enough to buy a back up at the time! Yay!

My Favourite Nail Polish

Nails Inc Baker Street

I think this is going to be my only nail polish that I'll actually finish.
It's gorgeous and gives you a great pop of colour on those days that you need it.

My Favourite Eye Makeup

MUA Undressed Palette

Last year the palette I used the most was the Urban Decay Naked palette, this is a great £4 dupe for it and I find myself going to it even more than my Naked palette!

My Favourite Face Makeup

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation

I love this foundation, it gives full coverage for those days/nights when you need it. It lasts forever and if you apply it correctly looks very natural.

My Favourite Beauty Tools

ELF Studio Line Brushes - Stipple Brush & Blush Brush

I invested in some ELF brushes earlier in the year and I'm so glad I gave them a try, they have some great quality brushes at an amazing price! I use the Stipple Brush to apply those extremely pigmented blushes as it gives you just enough colour and the blush brush as a highlight brush for my cheek bones.

My Favourite Bath Product

N-SPA Gingerbread Latte Bath Syrup

I hope they haven't discontinued this product completely as i love it, it smells delicious and makes loads of lovely bubbles in your bath as well as giving your skin a lovely soft fragrance.

My Favourite Body Product

The Body Shop Mango Body Butter

I love this so much that I not only use it on my body but...*Gasp*.... on my face too! Especially this winter, my face has been so dry, I've used this twice this week and my skin is so smooth!

My Favourite Hair Product

Andrew Barton The Straight Answer Hot Iron Protection Spray

Despite the name being ridiculously long the actual product is simple, effective and smells divine!

So those are my favourite products of 2012 I can't wait to find out what I'll be loving in 2013!

Hope you have all had a lovely weekend!

REVIEW - Mango Body Butter By The Body Shop

Hullo Ladies!!

I'm reviewing The Body Shop's Mango Body Butter today, The Body Shop are famous for their body butters, with scents like Moringa, Strawberry, Shea, Coconut, Grape Seed, Satsuma and Mango.

They group their body butters by skin types, they have Normal, Normal/Dry and Very Dry.

Mango is for Very Dry Skin, which is exactly what I need in a moisturizer.

It sinks into your skin without leaving a greasy residue.

Although I think this would have too much moisture for those with oily to normal skin. You would probably be better off picking another body butter that better suits your skin type.

This is my second tub and I will keep buying it.

It has an amazing mouth watering scent.

When I wear this for weeks at a time I can really see and feel a great improvement in my skin.

I like to use this mostly on my arms as I find they are the driest part of my body.

It's very creamy and has a yellow tint to it :-)

This,  the Shea Butter and the Satsuma Butter are my favourite Body Butters and I would always recommend them :-)

What's your favourite Body Butter?

Thanks, Linzi xxx

REVIEW - The Body Shop Mango Body Scrub

Hello Ladies,

This is a review for The Body Shops Mango Body Scrub for very dry skin.  I have had this scrub for a few months now, It's part of The Body Shops permenant range and is £12.50 at full price.

It has Mango seed oil, Community Fair Trade soya oil and Organic sugar. The Body Shop website advises you to use it 2 - 3 times a week which I agree with. I find It very exfoliating and moisturising and the best scrub I have used so far for my dry skin.

If you are like me and love things that smell fruity then you should love this. It smells like real mango's, not the synthetic kind you get in most products but ripe juicy mangos! It makes my mouth water just thinking about it :)

The mango range is one of my favorite scents from The Body Shop right after Satsuma and Shea. I don't think It's a real girly scent and Is quite unisex so it could be used by the whole family.

Thanks, Linzi xx

The Body Shop Body Butters

                                                                            Hello!

The Body Shop Body Butters are amazing to me, I've collected a few over the years, have smelt probably everyone they have made and these are soem of my favorites.

Satsuma Body Butter

This is my all time favorite smelling body butter, but its for normal skin so not the best for my-very-dry- and- in- need -of- top moisture- skin sadly but I still use it every chance I get :)

Sweet Lemon Body Butter

Nice but not sweet smelling enough for me I find it very sharp for my tastes but for some reason I love using it when I'm under the weather. Probably because It's the only thing I can smell that doesnt turn me ill.

Mango Body Butter

This is my second tub, I love the smell and find it really refreashing. It's for very dry skin which is great for me and i find that if I use it constantly for a few week's thats when my skin  is at its best. So I try to always have some at home :)

Almond Body Butter

This is one of my least Favorite smells, I had many fruity body butter and wanted something sweet but I bought this when It was on offer online with out actually smelling it. I also bought the Passion fruit, Brazil Nut and Blueberry that day and I disliked them all. Lucky I got them on sale because now my nan uses them for her feet!

Wild Cherry Body Butter

This is a nice smelling body butter but it's not one I would repurchase. It's for normal skin so not the best moisturiser for me but good when you want something a little bit different smelling.

Shea Body Butter

This is another I have gone through and bought again, It's great because it's extreamly moisturizing but also not too strongly fragranced so it messes with your perfume. This is one I wear out in the evening or when I'm going somewhere and I want someone to smell my perfume :) Also I got my two tubes of this for only £1 each when The body Shop had them on offer, if you spent a certain amount you could pick one out of three body butters for just a £1! Bargain!

Vanilla Body Butter

This is my newest Body Butter and I had it free with my last order from there online store, It was good luck because at the same time I was buying there Vanilla EDT, so I use this to layer the perfume to make the scent last longer. This is one of they're new Body Butters, they give you two seperate butters, one thats for dry skin and one thats for normal. Making it easier for you because your able to use the same moisturizer for your whole body.
