REVIEW - The Body Shop - Satsuma Body Mist

Hullo!

Hope you are all having a great weekend!

Mine has been real relaxing although I did manage to frighten myself last night by reading Battle Royale :-(

It's a great book but it's a big step from my usual romance filled novels!

Okay..onto the review :-)

So back last month The Body Shop came out with these new Body Mists.

They have a whole range of different scents featuring the juicy Mango and summery Coconut.

I picked up the Satsuma as its my favourite scent from The Body Shop.

It's very refreshing and I find it's good when you want a fresh "wake me up" fragrance.

Anyway...this is an honest review, so I'm not going to lie to you.

I'm very disappointed with this product.

It's all about the staying power and sadly after five minutes I can't smell it anymore.

Not on my skin or on my clothes. Which is quite depressing as It's such a lovely, natural scent when first applied and it was be amazing if it could last.

I couldn't believe it when I was reading reviews online and the reviewer was saying they were having a good 4 -8 hours lasting power. Is mine faulty or something? I just can't understand it.

Okay.... so I could layer it with my Satsuma Body Butter but to me it's pointless as the body mist isn't doing anything for me. I might as well skip it and just use the butter.

Maybe the other scents have more staying power and at some point I may try them out but it's safe to say I wont be buying the Satsuma again.

The price is £7 for 100ml and because I'm spraying it constantly, it's getting used up fairly quickly.

I do like the packaging, which a lot of people where complaining about as they wouldn't be able to carry it around in their handbag as it's glass.

I don't find that an issue as I carry around my over perfume bottles is my hand bag and haven't had any trouble with them before.

All in all I'm not impressed, the quality for me just isn't up to scratch with the rest of The Body Shop products :-(

Which is upsetting as I've never had any trouble with The Body Shop before.

Have you tried this product? Do you disagree with me on the staying power?

    1. I know they're only body mists but I just expected more from them, guess I will be sticking to their perfumes now :-)
