I'm a proud book worm!
Have been since I was very young. I love spending days just getting lost in stories.
Today I've been doing exactly that!
The latest J R Ward novel came through my door this morning and I nearly started hyperventilating when I saw it. I've been waiting four years for this story to unfold and I just finished it.
I found that even when I finished that amazing last page I didn't want to remove the book from my hands.
Have you ever felt that way about a novel/author?
If you have leave the name in the comments section, I'm feeling slightly lost now I've finished J R Ward's Lover At Last!
Hope your all having a great weekend :-)
Linzi xx
I love to read too, it's a shame I don't really get a lot of time to read any more.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend :)
Thanks hun, you too! xx
DeleteYES! I feel like this about many books. Two that come to mind straight away are "All my friends are superheroes" by Andrew Kaufman (not a nerdy book and actually really profound for something like 80pages of writing!) and "Shades of Grey" by Jasper Fforde (it was before THAT book came out....genuinely got very confused when people would talk about 50 shades of grey as I'd automatically think of my favourite author and then be confused when people were reading weird porn instead! Haha!) Highly recommend both but Shades of Grey does take a while to get into but I assure you the pay off is worth it! Hope you find another book or series to fill the void :) xxx
ReplyDeleteHahahah I can see how that would be confusing :-) Ohhh thank you hun! I'll make sure to check them out! xxx
