Collective Beauty Haul

Hi Ladies.

In the last few weeks I've managed to pick up a few beauty products and I just thought I'd tell you what I'd got and where from :-)

 - Hair Products -
Herbal Essences Beautiful Ends Split End Protection Cream
I bought this in the Superdrug Clearance for £1.99, It smells really good and I really like it so far. I'll be reviewing it for you soon!

Batiste Tropical Dry Shampoo
This is a re-purchase for me, I love Batiste Dry Shampoo. My roots get oily very quickly and this bad boy allows me some extra time so that I'm not washing my hair every day. I picked this 200ml bottle up in ASDA for £2

- Skincare -
St.Ives Dry and Sensitive Skin Gentle Facial Cleansing Wipes
I found these on offer in Superdrug and I really like them, I usually just use baby wipes to take off my makeup but I'm having trouble with my skin being dry this Winter, so I thought I'd gives these a try.

St. Ives Naturally Clear Apricot Scrub (Blemish Fighting)
This is a another re-purchase for me! I love everything about this scrub, it's great for taking off making and doesn't dry out my skin. I also think it does help to prevent blackheads and blemishes. Not completely but it helps, which for the price is great! Again I bought this is Superdrug on offer for £1.99.

 - Makeup -

GOSH X-Ceptional Wear Foundation in 12 Natural
This is my third tube of this foundation, I love the matte finish, the coverage and the shades you can get. They do one of the best Porcelain shades for drugstore in my opinion. I picked up Natural this time though for the up coming months. I bought this in Superdrug for £7.99

Natural Collection Pressed Powder in Warm
I decied last week that I needed a new pressed powder after I used up all my Laura Geller Balance and Brighten. I'd heard some good things about the Natural Collection range from Boot's at at £1.99 I decided to give them a try. I really like it so far and will be reviewing soon :-)

MUA Extreme Curl Mascara
I needed a new mascara and wanted to try out some of the MUA ones, I have to say I'm not very impressed so far. I'll be talking about it more in another post. I picked this up in Superdrug for £2

MUA Lip Boom in It's A Situation.
I've been loving the 'vampy' look these last few weeks but I don't have any dark lip colours that I really love, then I remember that I had seen a post on this particular colour months back and really liked the look of it. I'm very impressed, I love it! I picked this up in Superdrug for £3.

So that's everything I've bought over the last few weeks, I have some lovely new things to review :-)

New MUA Palette......Naked 2 Dupe??

*Photo taken from MUA Facebook page*

Hi Ladies,

Just heard some exciting news on Facebook !!!

MUA have been busy the last few month bringing us amazing new products and this seems to be another one.

It's called the Undress Me Too palette which seems to make it the sequel to Undressed, the very famous Naked dupe.

Could this be the new dupe for Naked 2 by Urban Decay?

Let's hope because if it is then it's going to be a fraction of the price :-)

Also it's the first white palette that MUA has brought out, I'm liking  the photo but I don't know how much I'll like it once it's been in my make up box after awhile!

Have a look here to see some swatches of the new palette  I have to admit I think I'm going to get this one, the colours look stunning.....out in selected Superdrug Stores 13th of February or buy it on their website now!!

What do you think?
Will you be purchasing it?

Monthly Empties (January 2013)

Hullo Ladies!

I've decided to start writing some 'Monthly Empties' posts, mainly because I'm trying my hardest to go through the endless amount of products I have around the place but also because I love reading them from other blogs. Again...this is probably because I'm so nosy :-)

St Ives Blemish Fighting Face Scrub - I love this stuff, I've already bought a new tube of it!

Herbal Essence Wild Violet and Pomegranate Hair Mask - I'm a big fan of Herbal Essence hair care but I didn't find anything special about this one. It had a nice smell but I wouldn't repurchase.

Gorgeous By Gok Body Wash - Smells good but I wouldn't repurchase any time soon.

Armani Code EDP - Absolutely love this perfume and I'm ready to start on my new bottle of it! If you haven't tried it yet, you need to!

The Body Shop Love ECT... EDP - Great day time scent. I wen't through It quickly. It's an amazing quality perfume for the price and even better when you can get it on sale. I will re-purchase it some day but I have way too many other perfumes to get though first :-)

The Body Shop Love ECT ... Body Wash - I've recently been trying to get through the amount of shower/bath products I've bought over the last few months, I choose this one because I knew I was nearly finished with the perfume so I wanted to see how they would smell layered together. It's a nice smell and does smell a lot like the perfume but It's not as fresh or as long lasting.

Dove Go Fresh Anti-Perspirant in Cucumber and Green Tea - I loved this when I first bought it but it got bored quickly. It started to smell too much like some kind of Febreze. As soon as I realized that I became paranoid about wearing it. It is a lovely smell all the same. I won't be re-purchasing but I have bough a different scent from the same line. It is a good deodorant though so I recommend the Dove range.

So that's everything I used up in January :-)
I wonder what products will be on next months post !

My ASOS Sale Wishlist!

I love it! I want it so bad :-)
I've never worn something with a peter pan collar before so it would be interesting to know how it would look on me.

I've got a thing for bags lately and I really like this one.

OMG! Stunning.
I'd probably kill myself in them though :-P

Eeeek!
It's just so cute.

I have a clutch bag like this from Matalan, I'd love to have the purse to go with it :-)

Have you seen anything interesting in the sales?

Finishing Touches Haul

Hey Ladies!

I have a thing for duvet covers.
I love buying new ones, finding pretty girly colours to brighten up my room.
I picked up this new one from Tesco.
Here is the link and I bought the double for £12, It's reversible and has a striped pattern on the other side.

I also picked up a small throw from Tesco's for just £4 and it's a muted duck egg blue colour.
Gorgeous!

I picked up two hanging heart tealight holders from Asda.
I have two windows and have hung these on each curtain rail.

For £3 each you can't go wrong :-)

My walls have been looking bare so I decided to pick up some canvas art.

I bought these three from Home Bargains for less than £3 for all of them!

They are small but look so cute all together :-)

I picked up this candle holder in Home Bargains to display my perfumes on and it cost about £3.50.

It fits about 5 fragrances!

I also picked up these LED lights to wrap around it.
These are from ASDA and cost £2.

This is what It looks like and I love it!
The LED lights look stunning at night but I couldn't take a good picture with my camera :-(

So that my recent haul!

Hope you guys are having a great weekend!

Updated Perfume Collection Part 2 - My Top 5

Hey Ladies!

I'm going to talk about my Top 5 fragrances as of February 2013.

The mirror they are standing on is a candle holder that I bought the other day in home bargains and I also have heart LED lights wrapped around them, they look beautiful all lit up but sadly I couldn't get a good picture of them except in day light.

1)      Armani Code Femme
Group - Floral
Launched - 2006

Top – Bitter Orange, Italian Orange,
Middle – Ginger and Orange Blossom , Jasmine
Base – Sandalwood, Vanilla and Honey

I smelt this in the January sales last year and new I had to buy it. It smelt wonderful to me. Sexy and mysterious but comforting and grownup too. I bought two bottle in the sales and I'm just about finished with my first.  The notes I pick up on most are Orange, Jasmine, Honey and Sandalwood  I love them all together so much that I look for them in other perfumes now to see if they would be for me.

It's my signature scent. I'm hoping to be wearing it for many years yet!

2)      Roberto Cavalli – Roberto Cavalli EDP
Group -Oriental Floral
Launched 2012
Top – Pink Pepper
Middle -  African Orange Flower
Base – Benzoin, Vanilla and Tonka Bean

I smelt this when it first came out and fell in love, it's seductively sweet and mysteriously sexy. I can recognize it anywhere. I waited a whole year before I bought it though because I didn't want to pay full price when I knew at some point it would be half off. So I put it on my "January Sales" list. As soon as Christmas Eve came I bought it.

I love wearing it but like to keep it for special occasions so that I don't use it up too quickly.

3)      Vera Wang Princess Night EDT
Group - Floral Fruity
Launched 2012
Top – Watermelon, raspberry, red berries
Middle – Rose, African Orange Flower and Jasmine
Top – Woodsy Notes, Musk, Vanilla and Sugar

I bought this as a blind buy as it was such a good offer a few months ago. I managed to pick up a 50ml bottle from TK Maxx for £24.99 after seeing it in Boot's on the same day for £45. I'd always wanted a Vera Wang "Princess" perfume as so many people talk about it. Also I had seen the ad for this when it for came out and loved the look of it. I was really lucky because as soon as I opened the box I knew I loved it. It's a fruity scent that's just a step away from being too sickly for me but steps it up about ten minutes in by becoming a gorgeous vanilla and woods fragrance. I'm in love with it and have used up nearly half just this winter alone!
I prefer this to the original "Princess"

4)      Diesel Loverdose EDP
Group – Oriental Vanilla
Launched 2011
Top – Manderin Orange, Star Anise
Middle – Jasmine, Gardenia and Liquorice
Base – Amber Vanilla and Woodsy Notes

Even though I don't like eating liquorice I apparently like smelling of it!
I think this is my most recent perfume purchase. I wasn't planning on getting it but when out sales shopping last month I came across it for £19.99. It's a very unusual scent, I haven't smelt anything like it before. It starts of extremely strong but settles nicely onto the skin creating a lovely liquorice and vanilla fragrance.

5)      Oh Lola – Marc Jacobs
Group - Floral Fruity
Launched - 2011
Top -Wild strawberry, raspberry and pear
Middle - Cyclamen, Peony,  magnolia
Base - Vanilla, Tonka Bean and Sandalwood

After trying the original Lola ages ago and hating it I always though Oh Lola would be the same. I was wrong! I absolutely adore this fragrance and its screams Spring to me for some reason so I'm hoping to wear it more in the next coming months. Which is strange as I don't usually choose what I'm wearing by what time of the year it is. I also read a review where a lady described it as smelling like "amazing hair products" and I have to agree. It smells like your hair when you step out of a salon. That may not sound very appealing but somehow to me it is :-)

So that's the end of my Updated perfume collection....read part 1 here

I would love it if you could give me some suggestion on any perfumes to try out next that you think I'd like :-)

Hope you are all having a great Weekend!
