Eau My Giddy God - The Body Shop - Mango EDT

Hullo Ladies,

It's officially Summer and I'm always on the lookout for a great Summer fragrance.

I have a few of them this year which I'll be showing you in an upcoming post but I wanted to review a special one that was also included in my Top 5 Spring Scents. Yeah.....It's THAT good :-)

This year The Body Shop released a range of perfumes designed to be layered over their scented body products line.

For example, you can also buy an EDT to go with your favourite Coconut Body Butter or Satsuma Shower Gel!

They have all those long loved scents!

They bought out a similar range of body mists last year which I have to say I was disappointed with. The lasting power was horrible but I'm happy to say that these Eau De Toilette versions have a lot better longevity, this perfume lasts around 2 - 3 hours on my which is normal for an EDT.

Now on to the scent.

It's obviously a fruity scent, no doubt about it but what I find most amazing is that it literally smells like you just cut into a fresh juicy Mango.

It's not artificially sweet, has no strong lingering of alcohol, it just has delicious mango goodness.

I love the bottle, it's cute and small to keep in your handbag so it won't weigh you down.

If you love the Mango range from The Body Shop then you really need to try it out.

What's great is that if you feel like 2 - 3 hours isn't enough, just layer it with the Mango Body Butter then that gorgeous scent is just going to linger all day!

I've also tried most of the other EDT's and they also smell exactly like they should :-)

You can buy this here - for £8.50 but make sure you check for any codes that are going around  and while you are there check out the amazing sale they have on right now!!!

I really want to pick up the Strawberry, Coconut and Shea!

Have you tried any of the perfumes from the range?

REVIEW - Maybelline Colorsensational Vivid Lipstick - Fuchsia Flash

Hey Ladies!

I'm in love with the Maybelline Vivids Collections, I don't know about you but it's my favourite lipstick range to  come from Drugstore brands :-)

I just hope they bring the whole collection to the UK at some point!

Here is  Fuchsia Flash, a blue toned pink.

It's creamy, pigmented and long lasting just like all the others from the range I've tried.

The lipstick is just applied over bare lips, no lip balm or lip pencil.

I'm in love with this one, it's amazing for those Summer days when you don't want to take too much time doing your makeup but still want to look like you thought a lot about it. Just slap this on,  a bit of liquid liner, mascara and you're ready to go!

Have you tried any of the Vivids Collection?

It's definitely a Summer Essential for me :-)

Then the poor person inside of mestarted feeling guilty.

Did I really just buy something that I'm never gonna wear?

So the sensible side of me decided to research some 'How To' blog posts on Playsuits and I found some great ideas.

First Haul Of June ; Superdrug, New Look and Charity Shops!

Hullo Ladies!

I did some shopping through the week and I picked up some lovely goodies :-)

First stop was Superdrug earlier in the week, I knew I needed a new bottle of Dry Shampoo so I picked the Batiste bottle in Tropical. Then I noticed the new Impulse body sprays were on offer for just 97p so I picked up three of them, in Loving Woods, Tease and True Love.

The suns out so I need to step up my shaving game, I can't pretend it's winter anymore :-( so I picked up a bottle of Satin Care Shaving Cream in Apricot and a pack of 4 BIC Soleil shavers.

Then I stopped into one of my local charity shop to see if they had any new books in and I noticed a Sara Manning novels that I hadn't read yet....RESULT! I love her books and I finished it the same day I bought it.

When leaving the Charity shop I noticed they had a whole shelf full of awesome Sunglasses so I picked two up for £1.99 each.

Today me and my brother went shopping for our Mam's Birthday which is next Tuesday, I managed to pick up a few things for myself in New Look.

I picked up two Bandeau bras because I just think they can be so essential in wardrobe.  Great for strapless dresses, strapless tops, loose tank tops and even if you're suffering with sunburn and don't want the pain from your bra straps.

So many reason and they're only £2.99 each.

I picked up just one black and one white just to see if they fit if  they where comfortable. I'm definitely going to be picking up some more of these, especially some of the neon colours and the funky patterns.

My brother bought my Mam a set of earrings for her Birthday and as they are on Buy One Get One Free at the moment he picked up this set for me! I love them....look at those cute little Bowler hats!!

Finally the last thing I bought was this Aztec Bandeau Playsuit!

I love it but I'm slightly scared of it...it's so busy and short.

I bought it because we're hoping to go on holiday later in the year and I keep seeing girls wearing these and they look amazing! I'm going to do some research for idea's on how to wear it.

I got this playsuit for £14.99, there was many others there and If I do find a way to wear this successfully I'll definitely think about picking some more up!

Have you picked up anything interesting this week?

Are you for or against the playsuit? Love or Hate it?

REVIEW - OCC Lip Tar in Pageant

 Hullo Ladies!

I talked about my only OCC Lip Tar in my recent favourites post and I thought I'd do a review on it now that I've had it for a few months.

I won Pageant in a Giveaway and I've worn it constantly ever since. It's a great bright lip product for the Summer.

Pageant is a blue toned pink.

I love the packaging and I've heard that its been redesigned as the old packaging was quite messy apparently.

You only need a tiny amount on your lip brush. I use my Real Techniques Detail brush as I feel like it's the perfect size .

I made this swatch after I'd painted my whole lips with that tiny amount of product and it still had enough product to give a decent swatch.

When I first saw the Lip Tar I was slightly unimpressed with the size of it but now I know that you only need the tiniest amount and it would be hard to get through, I happy to have the 10ml bottle.

I love how creamy it look on the lips and how pigmented the colour is.

It doesn't bleed or enhance any dry patches.

You can see that after a few hours of wearing it leaves an even stain on the lips.

A great thing for if you're out and about and can't re-apply with the brush, you can just pop a bit of lip balm or gloss on top to give a healthy look to your lips until you find a mirror and some time to re-apply.

I have to say I'm in love with this product, although the price tag might keep me from trying out some more of the products. Not because I don't think they're worth it it's just that I'm skint :-)

I have heard that the Sleek Pout Paints are supposed dupes for them, which I may have to test out for myself at some point!

These Lip Tars are 100% Vegan and Cruelty Free - Good To Know!

The only place I know you can buy OCC Lip Tars in the UK is on the Selfridges website - HERE for £11.50

Have you tried the OCC lip tars?

New MUA Blushers

Hullo Ladies!

MUA have released a few new blushes,  have re-designed the packaging and have also given them names instead of numbers. Like they did with the cream blushers they brought out not too long ago.

These new blushes are slimmer and open differently. They're easier to open and make a satisfying sound when they are closed so you know that it's fixed tight.

Even though they are slimmer they still hold the same amount of product as the original blushes.

They have a mixture of different finishes, some are matte and some are shimmery.

They're bright, colourful and are very soft to the touch.

Lie the original blushers they are intensely pigmented and have great lasting power.

The shades I choose are : Lolly a peachy coral colour, Bon Bon a stunning muted pink and Bubble Gun a bright pop of pink.

From Left to Right : Lolly, Bon Bon and Bubble Gum.

I'm in love with these, they're very pretty, are great quality and I prefer the colour range of the new line to the old one.

These blushes are £1 each and are included in Superdrugs 3 for 2 sale at the moment. I picked up these three for just £2 :-)

I'd definitely suggest picking them up, I'll be buying the rest of them soon!

Have you tried these new MUA blushers?

Which is your favourite?
