My Nails Inc Lucky Dip + GOSH Nail Polish Haul :-)

So this morning whilst giving my mam her Birthday presents the post man came with this lovely box of goodies!

It's my Nails Inc Lucky Dip that I feel like I have been waiting ages for!

From L-R Chelsea, Paddington, Culross Street, Old Park Lane, Westminster and New Burlington Place"

The only one I don't really love is Paddington but for 6 polishes for £15 you can't go wrong :-) I can't wait for the next one!

"From L- R Rainbow, Vanilla Ice, Pearl and Base1- French Manicure"

So this afternoon, me and my mam went out for a meal in town and I stopped in Superdrug to pick up some nail polish remover and guess what else I found in their Clearance box!

Yes that's right GOSH makeup, most of these nail polishes have been discontinued I think, as I haven't seen them on the actual GOSH stand in awhile.

I actually found the polish Rainbow, which I have heard a lot about online and seems to be craved by a lot of people, I can understand why, it's beautiful!

The best thing of all....I picked them up for just 99p each!!!

I know....I can hear your gasps from here :-) amazing right?

So the clearence box in Superdrug is now officially worth looking at :-) I hope they keep it around for some time!

Hope you have all had a great day!

NOTD - Nail's Inc - Reeves Mews

Hullo Lovely Ladies!!

This is the nail polish that I've been wearing all day, its from Nails Inc and it's called Reeves Mews.

This is one of the nail polishes that came in the 7 piece set that I bought from Tk Maxx. It is also available at QVC in their Bright Lights collection which you can find here.

It's a lovely teal colour but seems to hav a hint of neon to it, it's that bright :-)

Sadly the pictures are not picking up it's true colour, it's a lot more brighter in real life :-)

Like many Nails Inc polishes this is extremely pigmented and was just two coats.

The only bad thing about this polish is that it stains quicte badly so remember to wear a basecoat underneath :-)

This is probably one of my favourite Nails Inc polishes so far :-)

What's your favourite?

REVIEW - The Body Shop - Shea Body Butter :-)

Hullo Ladies!

So I fancied writing another Body Butter review today, they're my favourite products to use on dry skin so I have lots and lots of them, I'm also slightly obsessed hehe

Last month I reviewed the Mango Body Shop Body Butter which you can see here

The Shea Body Butter is probably the most moisturizing out of my collection the Mango coming a close second.

I bought my first two tubs of Shea Butter for just £1 :-0

It was before and after the Christmas sales because I had spent more than £25 at both times.  Amazing right?

They had a selection of three butters you could choose from, this one, Dreams Unlimited or Candied Ginger and I picked this up each time. As soon as I smelt It I knew I was in love :-)

This is my second tub and I haven't used a lot of it lately as I've been reaching for the more fruity scented products due to the summer but this is my favourite to wear in winter and when I'm going on a night out and don't want my body products to over power my perfume :-)

Like I said earlier this product is for very dry skin and boy does it work, I really notice the difference when I use it continuously, The Body Butter are the only products I have tired where I can say that my skin still felt soft and hydrated for some time after my last use.

"The Body Shop Shea Body Butter and Garnier Shea Body Lotion"

I wanted to test the scent to see if it really was as gorgeous smelling as I thought it was compared to another Shea Body Lotion. I think we have all smelt Shea butter at some point as it's a rather popular scent with body lotions so I tested these against each other to see if they really did smell the same. I put a bit of the garnier on my left hand and the butter on my right. Firstly I noticed that the Garnier had a weak synthetic smell to it and the Butter was much more rich and sweeter smelling, stronger but not over powering. The scent lasted a lot longer on my right hand compared to the left too.

So I have enough Body Butter to last me awhile now but I really wan't to try the cocoa version that the Body Shop have at some point as I have heard great things.

The Chocomania version I'm hoping to get very soon too, as a chocoholic it sounds amazing to me!

I'm waiting for another Sale though hehe :-)

You can buy The Body Shop Body Butters here.

Have you tried this product? Love it or Hate it?

Superdrug and Tk Maxx Haul :-)

Hullo Lovely Ladies!

It's my Mams Birthday Monday so me and my Dad took her shopping today for her presents, she picked out a lovely Denim Jacket and a new handbag, I also bought her a new perfume as shes running out sadly I forgot to photograph it, It's a Britney I know she likes.

Of course I couldn't walk into Tk maxx without picking something up! :-0

My Dad picked me up these, he knows that they are my favourite sweets and all though you take the chance of eating a liquorice flavoured bean, it's worth it! :-)

These cost £3.59

I picked up some more Nails Inc because as you know they're my latest addiction ;-)

Sadly my Lucky Dip hasn't arrived yet which I'm a bit angry about, it's been over a week now!

"Marble Arch, Reeves Mews, Park Walk, West Hampstead, Carlton Gardens, Keats Grove and Oakley Street"

I'm in love with this set, at first when I spotted them weeks ago, I wasn't fussed but seeing them on a few blog posts I really fancied some of the colours :-)  I can't wait to try Marble Arch, Reeves Mews and West Hampstead!

I recently ran out of make up wipes so we stopped in superdrug and I picked up the Superdrug own facial cleansing wipes with Camomile, they are just 99p which I thought was a bargain! I've tried them already and I really like them so far :-)

Next I picked up another Barry M *Tut Tut* In Red Black which is supposed to be a dupe for Chanel's Rouge Noir.

Then when paying I spotted a clearance box full of make up, I picked up this miss sporty nail polish. Sadly I can't find the name but its a very pretty sheer blue.

Then I picked up this Rimmel London Eye Shadow duo in Walnut Pearls.

Whilst looking the sales lady told me that they where also on "3 for 2"

I know what your thinking..."Oh My Goodness, This can't get better!"

Well yes it can!

Yes that's right in the clearance box I found this Lancome Juicy Tube in cerise, I asked them twice if they where sure that this was included in the clearance sale and they said yes! When she tried scanning it, it wouldn't go through. She said that it must have come free with a product and did I still want it! My answer.....YES!

So I got a free Lancome Juicy Tube.

Obviously this was probably a one off but I would definitely check your local Superdrug if I was you, never know what you may find! :-)

Hope your all having a great weekend!

REVIEW - Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Eyeliner - Black Ink

Hullo Lovely Ladies!

Back when I first started blogging in March I made a collection post about my Gel Eyeliners, featuring Bobbi Browns Black Ink.

There are a few reasons why I want to talk about it again today, one of them being that It's such a great product it needs to be spoken about more often and also that the first time I talked about it was only a collection post where it was mentioned briefly.

I bought a Bobbi Brown set from QVC around Halloween last year, In it I received two Long Wear Gel Eyeliners, a mascara and a Ultra Fine Eye Liner brush.

One of the Long Wear Eyeliners was Black Ink, It's an extremely pigmented black and goes on lovely and smooth.

The best thing about it? It lasts forever!

Even though I have dry skin on my face, my eye lids can be quite oily so most of the time my eye products would last me a few hours at best but this can last at least 24hrs.

GASP! I know...I'm a terrible person, sometimes I go to bed forgetting to take my make up off!!

Usually this is because I'm either too tired or too drunk to remember hehehe...come one....we've all done it :-)

So here is a thick and thin swatch of Black Ink, It's quite a dark shade so I usually only wear it on a night out. I used up a lot on Halloween as I drew a web and some spiders on my face with this because I knew it would last for ages.

Recently a friend and I where going to a party and she asked me to do her eyeliner for her, I tried using her Maybeline Gel Eyeliner and couldn't believe how hard it was to use, it went on far too wet for me , it smudged everywhere and didn't last nearly s long as I thought.

So I think that means Bobbi Brown has officially ruined me for any other gel eyeliner, I have never had to keep my eyes closed to wait for it to dry or smudged it so badly I had to start all over again.

If asked I would say this is worth every penny it costs.

I bought my set from here and it set me back £33.50 plus P+P but all the products separately would have cost me much more.

Hope you have all had a great day, it's been raining non stop here but I guess that's what Wales is known for :-)

NOTD- Nails Inc - Wilton Row

Hullo ladies!

So remember I ordered the Nails Inc Ahead Of The Trend collection from QVC about a week ago??

Well I have been playing around with the colours and found that I really this one which was unexpected as it wasn't one that I was very excited about when I ordered the set.

It's called Wilton Row and it's a deep maroon red with a creme finish.

It's plum base makes this a unique nail polish in my collection.

Even though its a very glossy polish, I added Seche Vite top coat to hide my nails imperfections.

I haven't played around with my stamping kit for awhile so I decided to do something on my ring finger :-)

I used Cambridge Terrace which is very pigmented so great from nail art :-)

I used the feather from my BM15 plate and really like how it came out!

I think I will be creating this a lot in the Autumn and Winter :-)

I know what your thinking!! It's not very summery Linz.....but I didn't fancy another bright polish today.

Also me and a friend had a movie night Monday and she was wearing a polish very similar to this, she said it was a 2True one from Superdrug, so now it's on my list! Heh.

We watched The Woman In Black....wow did we scream! I loved it though :-)

Hope you had a great day!

Laine Blogger Award

Hello beautiful people!

I have been awarded the Laine Blogger Award by the lovely Jasmine from Sweetaholic-beauty, she has the most amazing blog and I love it when she does hauls because she picks the most beautiful things up!

What is your current beauty obsession?

Nail Polish!
A few months ago it was perfume, so it will probably change at any time. To be more precise, right at this moment it's Nails Inc.  I have another small obsession right now which is Body Shop Body Butters! They're so good!

What is the beauty item you wished you owned?

As Nails Inc is one of my current obsession then it would have to be the new Sprinkles collection! Have you seen them? Giddy God they're beautiful! I get the shakes just thinking about them ;-)

What kind of posts are your favourite posts to write and read?

I love to read and write reviews but I have a secret pleasure for haul posts!

What inspired you to become a blogger?

Probably the fact that I needed to talk about all the amazing things that I was in love with. I'm always worrying when I talk to family and friends about beauty and cosmetics that I'm boring them, so it's nice to talk to people who understand!

What colour nail polish re you wearing right now?

Leighton Denny's Supermodel with Nails Inc Edinburgh Gate as my accent nail :-)

Rules:
  • Thank the person who awarded you and link their blog.
