Nail Polish Haul :-)

Hullo Ladies,

Something I do often is become addicted to certain brands or certain products, lately I have been crazy for Nails Inc, they have a great colour range and you can usually find some amazing deals!

I have a feeling this certain addition  will be lasting some time, especially with all the swatching I plan to do in the coming weeks :-)

So I went shopping today and decided to stop in TK Maxx and spotted a whole shelf of Nails Inc sets!

Oh my giddy god I was in heaven...and then hell because of course I couldn't have them all! So which was I going to pick??

One hour later........teheheh

I ended up picking two different sets.

Both of them where priced at £12.99

I was stuck between this set and a Leighton Denny set but preferred the colours in this one :-)

From L-R: Clifford Street, Montpelier Square and Edinburgh Gate.

Clifford Street is a dark purple/grey with gold shimmer running through it, Montpelier Square is a smooth metallic silver and Edinburgh Gate is chunky multi glitter.

From L- R: Silver Glitter Caviar Top Coat, Fitzroy Square and Buckingham Street.

This is the second set I picked up, they're all so pretty!

I can't wait to experiment with them!

Then I stopped into Tesco for some food, I decided to check out the magazines and found these babies!

Thank god I didn't go for the Leighton Denny's in Tk maxx :-)

In Harper's Bazzar this month they have a range of three different full size Leighton Denny polishes you can choose from.

Yes I did pick up two!

They didn't have the third colour there which I think was some kind of coral or red.

I picked the amazingly bright Plush Pink and the lovely nude Supermodel!

I was so excited that I had found them that I may have done a some what embarrassing happy dance in the middle of the shop hehehe

The magazines are £4.20 each, which means I have two Leighton Denny polishes for lower than the price you pay for just one! Happy Times :-)

So that's my haul for today! I'm still waiting for my Nails Inc Lucky Dip set to come! I'm so excited to see what I get!

Hope you have all had a great day! :-)

Thanks, Linzi xxx

REVIEW - Models Own- Smokey Eye Kit - Seduce

Hullo Beautiful Ladies!

I'm doing a review on one of my favourite Drugstore eye shadow trios and it's from Models Own.

First of all I find these eye shadows to be fairly pigmented and with an eye shadow primer they have great longevity.

I believe the concept behind this is to make it easier for people to creat great smokey eyes :-) which is great as a smokey eye can be quite frighten for some people to do as it's easy to get wrong!

I recently bought one for my mother as she freely admits she's clueless when it comes to make up. Usually I'm there to do it for her but for the times when I'm not this set comes in very handy!

The first colour is a lovely gold that reminds me a lot of Urban Decay's Half Baked but not as fine.

At first glance I thought the second colour on the top row was a deep chocolate brown but in fact its more of a mauve with lots of red and purple glitter running through it.

. The last shadow that's on the bottom row is a black with silver glitter.

This pictures shows just one light swipe of each shadow.

From L-R: First two swatches are of the first row and the last swatch is of the bottom shadow :-)

Hope that makes sense!

Models Own Smokey Eye Kit in Seduce.

I notice a fair bit of fall out when using this set so make sure you're prepared for that, maybe keep a make up wipe on hand! :-)

I bought this in Boot's and they had a deal going, buy two products for £10 so I bought this and a mascara but on there own the trio's are £8 each. Obviously you will be saving money if you waited for a good deal, which boots frequently give.

At the moment they have an offer on their website, if you buy two Models Own products you receive a free gift!

Hope you're all well!

Thanks, Linzi xxx

Summer Nail Polish Tag! :-)

Hullo Beautiful Ladies!

So every year around this time I see a lot of Summer Nail Polish Tag's....Which I love because I'm rather nosy and love to see what everyone's wearing! :-P

So I have decided to do one of my own, even though I wasn't tagged hehehe :-)

I started with Ten but then added another one that I really couldn't leave out!

Some of them I haven't got swatches of yet but They're on my list of things to do so don't worry!

From Left - Right "China Glaze For Audrey, Barry M Shocking Pink, Barry M Coral, Barry M Block Orange, Barry M Cyan Blue, Barry M Indigo, Color Club Sugar Plum Fairy, Nails Inc Bennet Street, OPI Cajun Shrimp, OPI Strawberry Margurita"

This is my only China Glaze polish and I'm so glad I picked it, it's a tribute to the gorgeous Audrey Hepburn and is based on that lovely Tiffany Blue colour :-)
Its a very elegant robin egg blue.

Barry M Shocking pink is a beautiful colour to wear on days you want to be like a barbie doll, to me its the polish you dreamed of wearing when you were six years old hehe :-P

Barry M's Coral is a very flattering colour with just a hint more orange too it than most of my other coral nail polishes, which makes it very unique in my eyes!

Barry M Block Orange, one of my most recent Barry M buys and boy do I love it!
It's a juicy, vibrant orange that is opaque in just three quick coats.
It's a polish that I have been wearing a lot in the last two weeks whilst the sun has been out!

Barry M Cyan Blue, this is the only picture I have with it on my nails and was taken with a flash but it really is very vibrant in natural light, probably my favourite blue from the Barry M line, It's very opaque in just two coats and when I wear it I frequently get asked where I got it and what's it called.

Barry M Indigo is one that I would wear on a night out in the summer or when I want something classy and dark. It's a beautiful polish and I don't think its talked about enough! I love it!

Color Club Sugar Plum Fairy is a holigraphic polish and is very opaque, I wore this on a sunny day once and couldn't stop looking at my nails!

Nails Inc Bennet Street is my favourite red to wear in the summer, it's very glossy and flattering.

OPI's Cajun Shrimp is a lovely coral that I love to wear on my toes! Great in the summer with some lovely sandles!

OPI's Strawberry Margurits is a beautiful pink that I love on both my hands and toes It's a great universal pink that would look flattering on anybody!

One that I have purchased recently and isn't in the group photos is Nails Inc Baker Street.

I'm really loving this colour right now! It's such a pretty blue :-)

Okay so that was my top summer Nail Polishes and although I'm the type of person that wears all sorts of polish no matter what season it is, I do believe that we gravitate to certain colours at certain times and these are just some I have been in love with lately!

I tag anyone and everyone! If you want to do it then go ahead, I had a great time!

Whats your favourite summer nail colour?

Thanks, Linzi xx

REVIEW - N-SPA Coconut Ice Cream Shower and Bath Gel

Hey Hunnies!

So for the last couple of days I have been trying out this N-SPA shower and Bath Gel.

First thing first is the smell, I love it but... Is it a Coconut scent...No, not at all.
Does it smell of Ice Cream...Ohh yes!!

It smells of really sweet Mr Whipy Ice Cream. If your not a fan of sweet scents then this isn't for you! Luckily for me..I am!

The lather is okay, I like to use a Bath Lilly in the shower or run it under your tap in the bath.

I wouldn't say the scent lasts a long time on your skin after your bath/shower but for me thats great as I would say that the scent could get boring quite fast.

I love N-SPA as they're inexpensive and great smelling, also I find the packaging really great.

It says on the bottle:
"I am told, said the wise man, that the sweet water inside the coconut is created by a sea maiden...as it's beautiful scent touches your nose, her soft music and laughter surrounds you. Take her hand and follow her...I am told she makes dreams come true."

How cute is that? :-)

The best thing about these products is the prices! Especially as now they're on sale :-)

On sale I bought this for just £1.50 and its a 500ml bottle which means it's going to last me for ages!
At full price it's around the £2-£3 mark!

Have you tried N-SPA before? Have a favourite product?

P.S Just want to tell you about this awesome giveaway that GeeBeeBeauty is doing at the moment, she has an amazing blog so go check her out :-)

Thanks, LInzi xxx

NOTD - Nails Inc - Baker Street

Hullo lovely ladies!

Today I'm wearing Baker Street from my recent Nails Inc purchase.

Its a vibrant royal blue and I can understand why it's so popular because even though I am a blue nail polish lover, I have nothing like this in my collection!

This became very popular after Beyonce was seen wearing it in her first appearance after her baby daughter Blue Ivy was born.

This would look amazing on any skin tone and is quite a classy blue.

It's fairly pigmented but I would use two coats to get a smoother application :-)

I used Barry M 3 in 1 for my basecoat, two layers of Baker Street and then Seche Vite as my top coat!

I really love this colour and can see my self wearing it often and all year round!

This is just a quick post today!

Hope your all having a great Jubilee Weekend!

Thanks, Linzi xxx

My May Favourites

Hullo Lovely Ladies!

These are some the products I have been using continuously in May!

I have been loving this Born Lippy Strawberry Lip Balm from The Body Shop, It smells amazing and really moisturizes my lips :-)

Also from The Body Shop is the Coconut Body Butter which I was drawn too whilst we have been having this lovely sunny whether.
I've also been using the Coconut Body Scrub but forgot to photograph it!

China Glaze For Audrey is the most elegant and beautiful polish I own, I might buy a back up soon...that's how much I'm loving it hehehe

Another polish I have worn a lot is this Barry M Block Orange Nail Paint. This is a real pop of juicy colour
 :-)

This is Ed Hardy Original Women or as some people like to call it "Love..Kills... Slowly"

No matter what you call it, it gorgeous!
Very fresh and fruity!

I have been taking these Vitamin C tablets lately, they're to help with your body's defense system but I have really noticed a difference in my nails, they seem a lot stronger! They're tasty too!

These are just some inexpensive ones I bought from ASDA months ago :-)

It's been too hot lately to wear a lot heavy foundation so instead I've been using this Garnier BB Cream!

I'm thinking of doing a review on this soon :-)

I've had a few bottles of this, this one came in a mini set with the body butter and scrub!

It's a lovely true coconut scent, great for the summer!

This is MAC's Amplified Cream lipstick in Girl About Town which is a very popular colour!

I love wearing this with just the BB Cream and some eyeliner and mascara! :-)

Hope you have all had a great month! Whats been your favourite products?

Thanks, Linzi xxx
