Collective Haul :-) - Too Faced Chocolate Bar, Real Techniques, Revlon, Bourjois + More

Hullo Ladies....

Another Haul Post!

I've picked up a few lovely things recently so I thought I'd talk about them in this post :-)

ASOS had a 20% off everything flash sale awhile back and I made a cheeky order and picked up this Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette :-) I've heard so much about it and I'm so excited to make some new eye looks!

Two weeks ago whilst in ASDA I noticed they were now stocking Real Techniques and Ecotools so I picked up the Real Techniques Stipple Brush and the Ecotools Foam Applicator!

They also had VO5 on offer so I picked up the Smoothly Does It Curling Mousse and Tame and Shine Spray.

I also bought a Garnier Ultimate Blends Shampoo and Conditioner.

Then last week I made a quick trip to a shopping center and  made a stop in Boot's and TK Maxx!

I found a bottle of Seche Vite Top Coat in TK Maxx for £4.99 and then I bought another Revlon Lip Butter in Boots called Wild Watermelon. I also used my Advantage Card point to buy the Revlon Matte Balm in Shameless.

I also bought the Soap and Glory Face Soap and Clarity Facial Wash which I really like :-)

So because I was so excited about finding Real Techniques in ASDA, I picked up another one when I went back a week later! The brush I bought was the Powder Brush :-)

So last Sunday I decided to buy one of the new Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvets from Amazon just to give them a go and really loved it when It got here so the next day I went to Superdrug and picked up a three more of them because they were on 3 for 2 - I now have the colours - Hot Pepper, Frambourjoise, Ole Flamingo and Pink Pong :-)

Then lastly I made a quick stop in Boots and picked up the Soap & Glory No Clogs Allowed Self Heating Detox Mask which I've heard lots about and when I was at the counter they had this No7 mascara in a basket and the shopping assistant told me they were down to £6 on offer but if you have the coupon you can get another £3 off! So I bought that too :-)

So there you go! I can't wait to review some of these products!

What have you bought recently? Have you tried the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet's? I think they're amazing :-)

February Favourites 2014

Hullo Ladies!

I thought I'd better write up my February favourites post before it's to late and I end up needing to write my March one instead! I'm usually on time with these things but Instagram's  been keeping me busy!

My Instagram name is LinziLou92 by the way!

First favourite of the month.....

Dolce & Gabbana The One Desire - Smells so divine and unique, quite sweet but also floral. I love it!

Soap & Glory Peaches & Clean - I remember this being huge when it first came out and I finally understand why! I've received this for Christmas and started using it a few weeks after. I'm half way through and I'm definitely going to pick it up again! It makes taking off my makeup at the end of the day feel so good :-)

TheBalm Nude Tude Palette - I bought this recently and have been using it, with my Naked 3 palette ever since. It was difficult to decide which one to put into this post as I feel they both deserve it! I chose this one though and I have to say I'm so glad I bought it. I've created so many beautiful eye looks with it and really do suggest it to anyone looking for a new palette.

TheBalm Mary-Lou Manizer - I bought this when I bought the NudeTude palette as I knew these two products seemed to be the most talked and raved about. I can see why. It's such a gorgeous highlighter. I'm still trying out loads of different brushes to see which one applies the best. The one I'm favoring at the moment is the Real Techniques Contour brush. I'm so happy with this product and can't wait to wear it on a night out so I can show off my glowing cheeks!

Garnier Moisture Match in Dry to Very Dry - I've been using this for awhile now, ever since the range came out and I still love it. It's probably the only high street moisturizer that's actually helped my skin. It also doesn't hurt when you can get it on offer in ASDA ;-)

Soap & Glory Thick and Fast Mascara - This is one of my favourite Mascaras ever! It's great to just apply quickly for day wear but you can add amazing volume for a night out with a few extra coats :-)

Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick in Nudist - I'd heard so much about this product on Youtube and I finally decided to pick it up in the 3 for 2 offer recently. It's amazing as everyone says it is. It smells, feels and looks amazing!

Soap & Glory Smolder Kohl Eye Liner - Soap & Glory are on a roll for me this Month, I've been using this on my top lash line all month and it looks great! I don't use it in my waterline as it does smudge but on my top lash line it stays all day!

Sleek Blush By 3 Palette in Pink Sprint - I'm obsessed with these sleek blush palette at the moment and I'm so surprised at how easily I'm finding it to use this certain palette, it contains a lot of very pigmented, dark pinks but with a light hand they look amazing! I really want to pick up some more :-)

So those are all my February Favourites, what was yours?

TAG: How Much Is My Face Worth?

Hullo Ladies!

Some time last year this TAG post was very popular and although I was excited to do it I never did for some reason, recently though I've seen it pop up again and decided to finally do it!

Kinda scared on what the total will be but I know that in reality I'm pretty good with my money, I like to find bargains and looking at the products I've chosen as what I use on my face on a regular basis recently I can tell you that I've bought every single product on some sort of deal, whether it was because of a 3 for 2 offer or a discount code :-)

Obviously though I can't remember what I actually payed for all these product but I have looked up there retail price and that's the total I'll be showing today.

So these are all the product's I've been using on my face recently, some are brand new and some are old favorites :-)

Here we go!

Garnier Moisture Match Cream in Dry to Very Dry = £5.99

The Body Shop Tea Tree Pore Minimiser =  £7.50

Estee Lauder Double Wear in Shell= £28.50

Too Faced Shadow Insurance = £17.00

TheBalm Nude Tude Palette = £26.50

TheBalm Mary-Lou Manizer = £16.00

Bobbi Brown Gel Liner in Black Ink = £17.50

Burt's Bees Lip Balm in Acai Berry = £3.69

Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick in Nudist = £8.00

Soap and Glory Thick and Fast Mascara = £10.00

Total = £150.67

Wow. Even with the offers and discounts included that's kind of scary!

It's about £50 more than I expected it to be but still not as high as some of the TAG post's I've read ;-)

Have you done this TAG yet? I'f you haven't then I TAG you to do it!

Collective Haul - Soap and Glory, Urban Decay, Maybelline Vivid's, Models Own + More

Hullo Lovely Ladies!

I went shopping earlier this week and bought a few lovely and exciting things that I thought I'd show you!

I picked up my favourite hair dye in ASDA the LIVE Colour XXL in Red Passion, and they have the Health and Beauty Event going on at the moment so a lot of beauty products are on offer. I picked up the Tresemme Freeze Hold Hairspray for around £3, the Garnier Moisture Match Ultra Hydrating moisturizer for £3 and the Gillette Satin Care Touch of Olay Shaving Gel for about £2.

Next I went to Boot's and bought some Soap and Glory as they had a 3 for 2 offer running.

I picked of the Foam Call Body Wash which I'm really excited to try because I love the smell and I'm hoping to get better bubbles than the Sugar Crush Shower Gel.

I also bought the Glad Hair Day Shampoo and Conditioner which I haven't heard much about to be honest but have always been interested in trying it. I can imagine that Soap and Glory would do an amazing Hair Care Range!

I also picked up a Charlie Chic Body Spray as It was on offer and I like to keep them in my handbag for days when I don't feel like wasting my perfume. Smells lovely!

As you may have noticed I caved and bought the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. All those beautiful swatches and eye looks bloggers have been posting lately made me decide to take the plunge. I withheld from buying the second palette and the basics palette but now I have the first and the third! I'm really enjoying it so far. I bought it from Debenhams.com and found a 10% off code on HOTUKDEALS

I also stopped in TK Maxx and found some Models Own nail polishes in Catherine Wheel, Indian Ocean, Sparkler and Utopia.

Then back in ASDA I also found the only Maybelline Vivid's lipstick (from the line that was released in the UK) that I don't own in Hot Plum for £5!  I love it :-)

The last two things I bought was these cute socks from Dorothy Perkins for £1.50 and a Sylvia Day book called Don't Tempt Me from ASDA

Have you bought anything recently? Have you caved like me and bought the new Naked palette?

Empties Post - May 2013

Hullo Ladies!

My last Empties post was in January, this year is going so quickly, I thought I'd only done it about a few weeks ago!

So I've finished a few products in the last few week and I'm just going to talk about them :-)

First up is St Ives Naturally Clear Apricot Scrub - I used up a tube of this in my last Empties post and I bought this not long after so you can tell it lasts me a while. I like to use it once or twice a week to help keep those pesky spots away. I love it and will keep on re-purchasing!

Garnier Moisture Match in Goodbye Dry -I used this up a few weeks back so have a new bottle sitting on my side table. I really like this moisturiser. You need to use it twice a day for it to really do its job and when you do, you can really see an awesome difference.

Aussie Take The Heat Hair Protector - I am in love with this hair protector. I use it whenever I use heat on my hair. It smells amazing and doesn't weigh down my hair or make it greasy.

N-SPA Ruby Orange and Mango Butter Shower Sorbet - This stuff smells amazing and then what do N-SPA do....they stop making it. I cried using up the last. Okay....I didn't but it was sad.

Percy & Reed Colour and Shine Shampoo and Conditioner - Picked them up in a magazine about two months ago. I actually really like the Percy & Reed range so far, I've only tried these and the Finishing Polish but I've loved them all. They all have a distinct smell that like a bubble gum floral, which I really liked. I don't think I'd pay the full price for them but if I saw them on sale or in another Magazine I wouldn't hesitate to pick them up.

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation - I reviewed this a few weeks back and I really liked it. It's a nice foundation for a sheer to medium coverage.

I finished lot's a perfumes in the last week!

Most of them are about 3 years old so I'm glad I finally got through them I just find it funny they all emptied around the same time!

First up - Ralph By Ralph Lauren - I nice simple fresh scent. Great If you don't know what perfume to get as a gift as I can't think of many people hating it. I myself wouldn't buy it again as I want to try many different fragrances. I'd suggest this scent for people who are fans of fragrances like : D&G Light Blue, DKNY Be Delicious and Marc Jacobs Oh Lola.

Midnight Fantasy By Britney Spears - As much as I dislike her as a person, the woman knows what fragrance to put her name on. I'm a big fan of the original Fantasy but I'm an even Bigger fan of this one. It's fruity but different because It's very berry scented. Sugared Berries. Yummy. I love it for the daytime in autumn/winter.  I would definitely re-purchase!

Last but not least is Ed Hardy for Women - A fresh Fruity scent that gorgeous for summer days. I've had it for god knows how long and I always forget about it until I smell it and then I'm like "how did I forget how great this smells?" Even though I do really like it I wouldn't be re-purchasing it for myself anytime soon as I want to try many other scents. I wouldn't mind it if it was giving as a gift though as It's still a gorgeous scent.

So that's everything I've gone through in the last few weeks. I'm finishing up many fragrances at the moment so I think it's about time I bought some more ;-) Look out for a haul!

Collective Haul : Too Faced, Garnier, MUA and N-SPA!

Hullo Ladies!

This is just a quick haul to show you what I purchased over the last week.

I managed to find one of the N-SPA Sweet Shop gift sets on Clearance in ASDA. The scents included are Rhubarb & Custard  and Lemon Sherbert. Not a fan of the lemon one so far but the Rhubarb one smells super yummy! Just like the boiled sweets :-)

Also while in ASDA I picked up another tube of the Garnier Moisture Match in Goodbye Dry, It's part of my daily routine now and I think one tube lasts me around 4 - 6 weeks. They were cheaper in ASDA this week, only £4 so I picked it up. I love the scent, I find it really comforting. I also want to pick up the Simple Rich Moisturizer. I might pick up that one next and see how it compares.

The other day I took a trip into town and managed to sneak into Superdrug. I picked up three lip products from MUA. The Lip Boom in Cheeky and two Power Pouts in Rendezvous and Runaway.  I wish I had just picked up another Power Point as I'm really not liking that Lip Boom which is disappointing as I loved the last one I bought :-(

Last but not least I finally decided to splurge on the Too Faced Natural Eye Palette that I've wanted for years! It's gorgeous, I can't wait to play around with it in the next few weeks and then write up a review!

Have you tried the Too Faced Palette's?

Which one do you have?!

Have a great Bank Holiday Monday !

April 2013 Favourites

Hullo ladies!

It's the beginning of a new month, so I've taken some time to think back on what I loved in the month of April : Beauty wise.

Garnier Moisture Match in Goodbye Dry

I reviewed this recently and as you may notice I've nearly run out of it. I've already repurchased it and I'm so happy I've found a moisturiser that works for me personally.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation

I've recently been on a foundation binge....as well as blusher and lipstick *Ooops*.....and I picked this up because I heard so much about it through beauty bloggers. It's a great foundation and although not my exact colour match its very close and workable. I love how it just looks like skin.

Revlon Colorstay Foundation for Normal to Dry Skin

Another foundation I'd heard so much about I just had to try it atleast once. I've been loving the coverage. A lot of people say its full but I'd say it's more a high medium as I don't think it covers everything. It's great for covering redness but I still need a concealer for blemishes and under eye circles. I still really love it though and will probably re-purchase once I run out.

Maybelline Colorsensational Vivid in Neon Red

I'm in love with the colorsensational vivid range but Neon Red is probably my most worn this month. It's a gorgeous orange toned red that would fit most skin tones. It's beautifully pigmented and I reviewed it here

Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Juicy Papaya

Recently I jumped on the "Lip Butter" bandwagon and  one I picked up was the new Juicy Papaya colour. At first I was slightly disappointed it wasn't that pigmented but then I realised it looked gorgeous in its own or on top of a more pigmented lipstick.

The Balm Hot Mama Blush/Eyeshadow

I recently won this baby in a giveaway and I was so happy about it because I've wanted it for the longest time. It's a gorgeous peachy colour with gold shimmer running through it. Beautiful!

Diesel Loverdose EDP

I purchased  this lovely perfume in the Post Christmas Sale and I've been loving it this Spring. It's a gorgeous sweet licorice scent. It last's a good time and the bottle is amazing :-)

What have been your favourites in the last month?

REVIEW - Garnier - Moisture Match in Goodbye Dry - For Dry To Very Dry Skin

Hullo Ladies,

I've suffered with dry skin for a long time. On my face, my arms and even my feet!

At first you may think, just pop some type of moisturiser on and you'll be fine. Well most of the time it wont be. Especially if you suffer with extremely dry skin like me. It can take a lot of time and money to find that perfect moisturiser.

Recently the dry patches on my face seem to be getting worse due to the weather, so I really needed to find some sort of moisturiser that worked, one morning I decided I'd had enough and was really thinking about paying for a Clinique one I'd heard so much about. Before I could though my mam needed to pop to Superdrug, whilst there I noticed the new Garnier Moisture Match range that's been advertised lately.

It's a range of moisturisers for all different skin types, dry, oily, normal, combination and even one for dull skin.

I decided to try one more product before I made the leap for something more expensive.

Goodbye Dry is a ultra-hydrating rich cream and is said to protect your skin from feeling "tight, uncomfortable and dehydrated day after day"

I really love the smell of this moisturiser, some find it too strong but I find the scent really comforting. It has Shea Butter included in it and I think thats why I like the scent so much.

I've been using this moisturiser for a good two weeks now and have to say my skin has never felt so good.

My dry patches have cleared up and what's even more exciting is that my foundation's looks so much better now.

I can now use those foundation that I couldn't in the past due to the fact that they looked terrible on my dry skin.

I've had Garnier products break me out at times but haven't noticed that with this product, it's also been tested for people with Sensitive Skin and has no Parabens.

If you suffer with dry to extremely dry skin, I highly suggest picking this up. I can't say anything about the range as a whole as I haven't tried any of the others but I've had a great experience with this particular one and I believe it's worth every penny.

It's £5.99 for 50ml and you can buy it here

Have you tired the Garnier Moisture Match line?

Which one do you use and do you like it?

Collective Haul - The Body Shop, No 7, Simple and Mag Freebie!

Hey Ladies!

It's been nearly a week since I last blogged about anything!

I've had so much going on but I've missed posting!

I though that my first post back should be of the products I've picked up in the last week :-)

At the beginning of the week I went to Asda and Superdrug and picked up some hair care products.

The Garnier Fructis Frizz Tamer Shampoo and Conditioner - I like them so far. They smell amazing and my hair feels super smooth and sleek afterwards.

I picked up the Glamour Magazine in Asda because it came with a free Percy and Reed hair product. I choose the Colour and Shine Conditioner. This was the only one left. I hope next time I go there'll be some more variety. It smells the same as all the Percy and Reed products and I'm liking it so far although I've only used it once.

I also stopped in Superdrug for some hair dye and whilst there I picked up the Loreal Elvive Full Restore Conditioning Replenish Spray.

Just before I left I snagged a Simple Moisturizing Facial Wash too. I'm really liking the Simple brand at the moment, I'm on the path of trying to get my skin into a better condition.

One thing I do every now and then is pop into the local charity shop to pick up some books, I managed to find some Nora Roberts that I hadn't read yet but when passing the window outside I spotted a little No 7 gift box. I asked the lovely lady behind the contour if I could have a look at what was inside, mainly because I wanted to check that nothing had been touched, when she opened it up I almost wept with joy! The set included a travel mascara, full size eyeliner, full size lipstick and an eyeshadow! All brand new and for just £1.99 :-D

When I came home I had a quick check online to see if I could find out when the set came out and apparently it came out in December/January when you spent a certain amount on No 7 porducts! The colours are gorgeous. Nothing in there I wouldn't use. I'll be reviewing some of them very soon!

Last but not least, Yesterday my brother and I went Mothers Day shopping and I found The Body Shop store! It was an outlet so everything was discounted!

I bought my mam a new Wise Woman Day Cream and Cleanser and then for myself I picked up some new releases. They had put the new EDT's in little sets for great prices.

After testing out the Mango EDT I knew I had to have it. I grabbed the last set that also included the new Mango lip gloss and a travel size Mango Body Butter. For just £13.33, which is great as on the website the perfume is £8.50 and the Gloss £7 on their own!

When I paid by the counter the assistant asked me if I had a Membership card, which I did but knew it had run up. I told her this and she asked to see it anyway. Apparently because I didn't get a birthday gift from them last September I could get a new free membership card, not only that but because I became a member again she gave me a free travel size body butter.

I have to be honest, It took me awhile to find one I hadn't tried yet!

I choose the Chocomania one, I've heard so much about it since it came out a year ago and I just don't understand why I hadn't picked it up before now :-)  Whilst in store I also tested the Dreams Unlimited fragrance and now realize, I need that baby in my perfume collection! It's a stunner :-)

So that's everything I bought over the last week! I can't wait to start writing up some reviews for these new products :-)

Have you tried any of the new EDT's from The Body Shop?

I'm dying to pick up the Strawberry one that I also tried.

Linzi, XxX

Project 10 Pan

Hullo!

Project 10 Pan has been around awhile now and a lot of bloggers take part in it.

It's a great Idea, especially if like me you have lots of certain products hanging around that just seem like they never get used up!

The idea is to pick 10 products and try to use them up before you start buying more!

The Products I picked are:

Laura Geller Spackle Under Makeup Primer
- 10% Left -
I've had this for going on 2 years now and it's very nearly finished, I'm determined to use it up completely if i'm going to be buying another one.

N-SPA Apple Mint Crunch Body Scrub
 - 90% Left -
I own so much bath products that I literally have been given a warning by the parents to stop cluttering the bathroom cupboards with half empty bottles! Tut Tut.

The Body Shop Satsuma Body Butter
- 40% Left -
One of my favourites lines from the body shop is their body butters and I own about 12 of them now! Which means I seriously need to start using them up!

Aussie Dual Personality Smooth and Shine Milk
- 80% Left -
I love Aussie product but they can be slightly out of my price range which means I get slightly carried away when they are on clearance in Superdrug! I picked up a few of these bottles, so I'm making more of an effort to actually use them!

19 Mirror Shine Lipstick in Bee-Hive
 - 50% Left -
I used to use this lipstick all the time but recently I've been more into other lip products. I picked this because I really want to see if I can get back into it as I remember loving how it used to make my lips feel :-)  Super Soft and moisturized!

The Body Shop Love Ect... EDP
- 10% Left -
I love this perfume but I own so many at the moment I want to start finishing some of the bottles, I'm nearly through with this one so It shouldn't take long!

Demeter Jelly Belly Wild Blackberry Peach Cobbler Cologne Spray
- 99% Left -
I really like it but I always seem to pass on it in the mornings when I'm picking what fragrance to wear, so I've decided to throw it in my handbag and see if I have more of a chance of using it up!

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream
- 8% Left -
I have a love/hate relationship with this BB cream, some days it looks great on me then other days it can look horrific! All according on how my skin is on the day I guess. I don't think I'll be buying it again, so as soon as I can finish it the quicker I can go try something different.

The Body Shop Carrot Moisture Cream
- 60% Left -
I used to use this a lot but later found products that I felt were better so I hip it in the back of my draw. I'm determined to finish it! It's only a 50ml tub so It shouldn't take too long :-)

Soap and Glory Hand Food
- 30% Left -
I really love this hand cream, it smells gorgeous but I was recently given a new tube for Christmas so I want to finish it soon.

So that's the products I'm going to try to use a lot more of!

Are you taking part in a Project 10 Pan?

What products are you trying to use up?

Linzi xx

My May Favourites

Hullo Lovely Ladies!

These are some the products I have been using continuously in May!

I have been loving this Born Lippy Strawberry Lip Balm from The Body Shop, It smells amazing and really moisturizes my lips :-)

Also from The Body Shop is the Coconut Body Butter which I was drawn too whilst we have been having this lovely sunny whether.
I've also been using the Coconut Body Scrub but forgot to photograph it!

China Glaze For Audrey is the most elegant and beautiful polish I own, I might buy a back up soon...that's how much I'm loving it hehehe

Another polish I have worn a lot is this Barry M Block Orange Nail Paint. This is a real pop of juicy colour
 :-)

This is Ed Hardy Original Women or as some people like to call it "Love..Kills... Slowly"

No matter what you call it, it gorgeous!
Very fresh and fruity!

I have been taking these Vitamin C tablets lately, they're to help with your body's defense system but I have really noticed a difference in my nails, they seem a lot stronger! They're tasty too!

These are just some inexpensive ones I bought from ASDA months ago :-)

It's been too hot lately to wear a lot heavy foundation so instead I've been using this Garnier BB Cream!

I'm thinking of doing a review on this soon :-)

I've had a few bottles of this, this one came in a mini set with the body butter and scrub!

It's a lovely true coconut scent, great for the summer!

This is MAC's Amplified Cream lipstick in Girl About Town which is a very popular colour!

I love wearing this with just the BB Cream and some eyeliner and mascara! :-)

Hope you have all had a great month! Whats been your favourite products?

Thanks, Linzi xxx

Small Haul

Hello Ladies, I went food shopping today and picked up some things that I needed......okay....wanted!

I found some really good magazine freebies, In the Marie Claire you received a free lip and check stains. In the magazine they also had a 25% off The Body Shop makeup enter the code 38962 at the checkout.

Then in InStyle you had a choice of three different Nails Inc nail polishes that have been made especially for InStyle. Also in the magazine they have given a promo code for 20% off nailsinc.com. You just enter INSTYLEPROMO at the checkout :-)

I also picked up another bottle of J Lo's Miami Glow which my Nan bought me about 2 years ago and I ran out last winter, They are just £9.99 at Superdrug right now.

I have been fancying a black polish lately, I wanted one with lots of gloss and decided on the Barry M in Black. So I have added it to my ever growing Barry M collection, I recently had a small addiction to their nail paints but can you blame me? They're so good!

I chose InStyle Bluebell which is a lovely lavander blue. The other colours where really pretty and I had to stop myself from picking them all up :-(

That's right ladies, I've jumped on the BB Cream band wagon, I can't wait to do a review on this Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector as it's had some mixed reviews. I also spotted a Maybeline one but this was on offer!

Also found this lovely little package in my post box today :-)

A few weeks ago I decided to do this St Ives thing on facebook, I can't remember if it was a question game or if you just had to like their page but they where giving out these samples. I completely forgot I had done this so it was a nice surprise.

Then looking through the magazines, I found the adverts for next months freebies, InStyle are giving you a choice between The Body Shop Big and Curvy Mascara or Two Eye Definers in Black and French Navy.
In Marie Claire they are giving you a choice between three different Ciate nail polish colours :-) they look really pretty on the page! So great freebies next month too :-O

Hope you are all having a great Friday!

                                                                   Thanks, Linzi xx
