Eau My Giddy God - Vera Wang - Princess Night

Hullo Lovely Ladies!

If you read my haul a few weeks back, you would have seen that I recently picked up this Vera Wang perfume from TK Maxx. It was an amazing find. I picked up the 50ml bottle of Vera Wang Princess Night for just £24.99.

I've been meaning to try a Princess perfume for a long time now, as nearly every Perfume Collection I've seen on blogs and Youtube seem to have one included.

This is the newest Princess release.

I remember seeing the advertisement for it earlier in the year and falling in love with the bottle.

This is a grouped as a floral fruity perfume, all though I don't smell a lot of floral notes.

The Official notes to this perfume are ;-

Top - Watermelon, Raspberry and Red Berry

Middle - Jasmine, African Orange Flower and Rose

Base - Woodsy Notes, Musk, Sugar and Vanilla

On me I smell berries, sweet vanilla and woods. Giving this a youthful yet mysterious scent.

For a fruity floral fragrance I find it more interesting than your usual popular teen fragrances, which makes it more wearable for a girl of any age to not feel like they are wearing an immature perfume.

I adore the packaging and it looks stunning on display. I do find some fall out with the glitter but not enough that Im worried about bald patches very soon. There's just one speck of glitter here and there.

The thing that does bug my is the cap/crown. Yes it is gorgeous and the fact that you could also wear it as a ring is very appealing but it's just very fussy and mine always seems to fall off, which makes me fear carrying it around for to long in case I lose them. I would feel better about it if it was magnetic or fitted together more sturdily.

The colour of the glitter looks black in the photo's but when you hold it up to a light you can see that  its just a very dark purple.

All in all though it's a beautiful perfume and I'm so glad I picked it up when I did because only last week I saw it priced at over £40 in Boot's!

Hope you all had a great weekend :-)

Eau My Giddy God - Michael Kors - Very Hollywood EDP

Looking back on my "Perfume Loving" history, Michael Kors Very Hollywood should be a scent that I pretty much hate but for some reason I find myself falling deeper and deeper in love with it.

Floral Perfumes have never really been my thing. I'm more of a "Sweet N Spicy" kind of girl.

I picked this up on my birthday after I received a Boots voucher from a friend  It was already half price so I picked it up.

The Notes to this perfume are :

Top - Mandarin Orange, Bergamot and Raspberry
Middle - Orris Root, Gardenia, Ylang Ylang and Jasmine
Base - Amber, Oakmoss and Vetiver

When first applied I really notice the white floral notes; Jasmine and Gardenia as well as the freshness from the Mandarin Orange.

I think it's the freshness from the fruit and white flowers that allow me to love this perfume. The name fits it well as It's a very glamorous scent.

It's one I think would be great for special occasions like weddings and parties.

The lasting power of this perfume is a good three hours on my skin but a lot more when sprayed on clothing.

In fact what I love to do is spray it on the scatter cushions on my bed and my curtains because it makes my room smell gorgeous for days!

Packaging wise I think it's stunning, it looks very expensive and chic. Giving an antique vibe. The actual fragrance is a pink colour which just makes it even more pretty.

I love the way the glass is cut and how stamp-like the lid is.

The only thing I will warn you about if you're thinking of buying it without trying first, don't be fooled by the fruity top notes. This is very much a Floral perfume.

I can't find it on the Boot's website at the moment but I would go check in your local store to see if they still have it.

The Perfume Shop have the 30ml on offer at the moment for £16.99 - Here

You can also find it on Amazon and Ebay :-)

Have you tried Very Hollywood? Love it or hate it?

Eau My Giddy God - The Body Shop - Vanilla

Hullo Lovely People!!

It's been some time since I wrote a "Eau My Giddy God" post, so I though I would do one for you all today
 :-)

I seem to be slowly collecting all The Body Shops fragrances, they now have the Strawberry perfume back out, though I have only seen it in one of their sets.

I've read about it before on the interweb but have never seen it on their website so I'm looking forward to trying it out!!!

This is their very popular Vanilla Eau De Toilette.

It's been a best seller for a long time now and I'm not surprised .

This is probably the sweetest fragrance I have ever smelt.

It's a true vanilla scent with notes of coconut.

I don't really pick up the Coconut notes as the Vanilla really takes over.

This is a great scent for those who love sweet fragrances and It's slightly more grown up than most sweeter scents on the market.

I wouldn't buy it for someone who I knew liked a more subtle fragrance as this is quite a strong scent, not over powering but it's going to last a long time on you, especially if sprayed onto clothing.

My mother hates me wearing it though as she's not a fan of anything with Vanilla in as it gives her a headache, which is one thing you should think about when purchasing as vanilla can be quite an offending scent to many people.

I only really like wearing it around the Holiday season as it reminds me of Christmas for some reason.

This product is priced at £9 for 30ml.

I picked  it up on sale for less than £5 which is really affordable if you think about the prices you pay for perfumes in places like Boot's or Superdrug.

The only thing about this product that irritates the hell out of me is the packaging, I love the sleek bottle but the cap is horrible. It's quite small and when you place it onto the bottle it scrapes against the metal and gives me goosebumps!!  I guess I can deal with it though :-)

The Body Shop frequently have offers on so have a look on voucher websites to see which is the best deal.

Have you tried any fragrances from The Body Shop??

Eau My Giddy God - Britney Spears - Midnight Fantasy

Hullo Gorgeous people!

So I'm doing another perfume review today.

This time its Britney's Midnight Fantasy.

Britney Spears perfumes are very popular and have been for many years. I would be shocked if you haven't tried at least one of them.

Midnight Fantasy is a summers night perfume. It's very fruity and girly but has a sexy undertone to it.

This is my small 30 ml bottle but my last bottle of it was a humongous 100 ml and lasted me ages. At one point it was the love of my life, I took it everywhere with me.

Sadly I can get fed up with perfumes so once my old bottle finished I didn't buy it again for awhile and choose the original Fantasy instead. Then at Christmas time last year my nan was flummoxed on what to get me and as she was the person to get me into J Lo's Miami Glow then I told her to pick me up some kind of perfume and this is what she choose. I was so happy to have it in my life again :-)

This is a Eau De Parfum and I find it lasts a good time on me especially if sprayed on clothes!

Here are some of the notes:
Freesia, Iris, Black Cherry, Plum, Musk and Vanilla.

This my favorite of the Britney Spears perfumes that I have tried.

I would really recommend this if your a fan of fun fruity scents.

Have you tried this perfume? Love it or hate it?

Thanks, Linzi xx

Eau My Giddy God: The Body Shop: LOVE ECT...

Hullo girls,

I have just finished watching a really good movie (200 Pound Beauty- amaaaazing!) and felt like writing another blog post! So I'm writing another Eau My Giddy God post, which is all about one special perfume which I will be doing every so often. I am a massive fan of fragrances, I hate the thought of not smelling good and It's just one of those things that I first pick up on when meeting someone new, Do I recognise that scent? So today's lucky perfume is........Love ECT...by The Body Shop.
I think one of the best compliment you can give and recieve is "ohh, you smell good!" and I'm happy to say I have recieved a few of those since wearing this perfume. Which I have been wearing non stop for the last few months! I'm in love and I only payed £6! Bargain!

Love Ect is a lovely light perfume that is great for day time, it's very girly but not too immature and has quite a unique and interesting scent. I think it would be great for school or work because it's not a offending scent. It very subtle and fresh.

What The Body Shop Website says : "Our irresistible fragrance in a lasting eau de parfum: a heart-stopping fusion of jasmine, vanilla and sandalwood notes."

So If you want a clean, girly scent that is not over powering then this is perfect. It's priced at £14 on the webstie but they are always having sales on :-)

Have you tried any Body Shop perfumes?

                                                              Thanks, Linzi xx

Eau My Giddy God: Ralph Lauren: Ralph

Hullo!
This is going to be my first perfume review, although my first ever blog post was of my perfume collection.
It was not long ago that I was obsessed with perfume, I loved watching and reading about what perfumes people love and also what they hated. My personal tastes sway towards the sweet and fruity scents with some oriental and musks thrown in here and there.

This is Ralph by Ralph Lauren and it is a very popular perfume.

What The Perfume Shop say: "Experience the fragrance as colorful as you are with this combination of sparkling green apple leaves, zesty orange mandarin, charismatic pink magnolia, seductive purple freesia and soft blue musk that explodes into a colorful floral fragrance."

What I say: This is one I wear when I want a breath of fresh air. It's such a clean and lovely scent. Not too strong and noticable but I have had many compliments on how "Good" I smell when I wear it.
I think this would be a great perfume for work, when you do not want anyone to have a bad reaction to your perfume. It's not a boring scent or a powerful scent.  It was my saviour on a recent camping trip when I got fed up of smelling like fire smoke and mud :(

I like the simple packaging and its small and light so is great for carrying around in your handbag. I'm not that big a fan with floral scents and luckily I don't smell the floral notes in this, I smell apples and manderins.  This is an 30ml Eau De Toilette and cost my £16 at Debenhams although I have seen it cheaper in a Perfume Shop sale.

Have you tried this perfume? Do you love it? or hate it? :)

Thanks, Linzi xx
