TAG: How Much Is My Face Worth?

Hullo Ladies!

Some time last year this TAG post was very popular and although I was excited to do it I never did for some reason, recently though I've seen it pop up again and decided to finally do it!

Kinda scared on what the total will be but I know that in reality I'm pretty good with my money, I like to find bargains and looking at the products I've chosen as what I use on my face on a regular basis recently I can tell you that I've bought every single product on some sort of deal, whether it was because of a 3 for 2 offer or a discount code :-)

Obviously though I can't remember what I actually payed for all these product but I have looked up there retail price and that's the total I'll be showing today.

So these are all the product's I've been using on my face recently, some are brand new and some are old favorites :-)

Here we go!

Garnier Moisture Match Cream in Dry to Very Dry = £5.99

The Body Shop Tea Tree Pore Minimiser =  £7.50

Estee Lauder Double Wear in Shell= £28.50

Too Faced Shadow Insurance = £17.00

TheBalm Nude Tude Palette = £26.50

TheBalm Mary-Lou Manizer = £16.00

Bobbi Brown Gel Liner in Black Ink = £17.50

Burt's Bees Lip Balm in Acai Berry = £3.69

Sleek Blush By 3 Palette in Sweet Cheeks = £9.99

Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick in Nudist = £8.00

Soap and Glory Thick and Fast Mascara = £10.00

Total = £150.67

Wow. Even with the offers and discounts included that's kind of scary!

It's about £50 more than I expected it to be but still not as high as some of the TAG post's I've read ;-)

Have you done this TAG yet? I'f you haven't then I TAG you to do it!

My First Feel Unique Order + Boot's 3 for 2 Haul

Hullo Ladies!

I have a new haul today :-)

Last week I bought a few things that I'm really excited about!

First I'm going to talk about what I bought in the Boot's 3 for 2 offer :-) I'm pretty sure it's still going on so go get yourselves so awesome deals!

The first thing I picked up was the Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick in Nudist, I've been desperate to pick this up for awhile now after hearing some great things from some Youtube Beauty Guru's. They were forever going on about the smell but never actually saying what it smelt like. After using it these last few days I can tell you to me it smells like Palmers Cocoa Butter! Yum Yum! £8

The next product I picked up was one of the new Revlon Matte Balm in Standout, again this is another product I'd heard a lot about and as a lover of red lippy's I knew I had to pick it up. £7.99

Lastly I made my way to the makeup brushes and was about to pick up the real techniques eye shadow brush when I realized the new Ecotools brushes where the same price for two double headed brushes! £7.99 But I got it for free with the offer :-)

The most exciting part of this haul for me was that last week I made my first Feel Unique order!

I've wanted to try TheBalm products for ages now, especially these two.

I bought the Nude Tude Palette and the Mary Lou-Manizer!

Both of these products I've heard many things about, especially from Estee from Essiebutton :-)

I'm in love with both of them and I'm using them with every chance I get!

So that's everything I've bought recently :-)

Have you tried TheBalm cosmetics?

Anti Valentines Day - Movie Night - EOTN

Hullo Ladies!

I've been playing around with my new Naked 3 palette these last few weeks and this is one of the looks I've been loving!

I wore this look last Friday for an Anti Valentines Night in with a friend of mine, we ate Chinese food, watched some comedies and stuffed our face full of chocolate. An epic night in all honesty :-)

First I primed my eye lids with the Too Faced Shadow Insurance Primer. Then I put Strange in the inner corner of my eye, the first quarter of my lower lash line and on my brow bone, I put Liar all over the lid and Nooner in this crease. Then I darkened the outer corner with Darkside and also used it on the other third of my lower lash line and blended .

I used Soap and Glory Smolder Kohl to line my top and bottom lash line and Soap and Glory Thick and Fast Mascara on my lashes.

I'm in love with my Naked 3 palette already :-)

Have you got it yet? Not gonna bother?

TAG : What Beauty Product?

Hullo Ladies!

Whilst scrolling through all the blogs I follow on Blogger earlier I found a TAG post written by the amazing Belle- amie and loved reading it. I found the questions to be really interesting and fun so I decided to do the post myself!

Taken from belle-amie's Blog

1. You’re about to head out for a night out with the girls. What lipstick and lip gloss combo do you put on to make yourself feel gorgeous?

I would probably go with MAC's Ruby Woo which is a matte lipstick so I wouldn't usually apply a gloss over it but If I do then it's would probably be the Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Feelin' Flirty.

2. You’re running late for school/ work and need to leave the house in 5 minutes! Which 3 essential makeup products do you apply for a naturally beautiful look?

First would be the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation. Second would be The Body Shop Flavored Lip Gloss in Mango .  Third would be Hot Mama Blusher from The Balm.

3. You’re packing for a week away on holiday. What “all in one” eye shadow palette do you bring with you?

Right now it would be my Naked 3 Palette from Urban Decay. I'm obsessed with it!

4. You’re heading to the beach on a Summer’s day and will be wearing your favourite bikini. What nail polish shade do you wear on your fingers and toes to complete the look?

Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint in Greenberry. Such a fun and bright colour.

5. You’re getting ready for a date night to a new restaurant in town. Which perfume do you pick out from your collection to impress him?

Roberto Cavalli For Her EDP - A sexy and delicious scent.

6. You’re spending the weekend away and you only want to pack your beauty basics. What 3 brushes/ tools do you bring to do your makeup?

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush - Can be used for not only foundation but blusher, highlighting and even contouring.

ELF Professional Blending Brush - I often use it to do my whole eye look, it's so versatile. It's the perfect size.

Real Techniques Fine Liner Brush - Most of the time I use my Bobbi Brown Gel Liner so I need a good liner brush in my makeup bag, this one is gorgeous to use :-)

7. You've just woken up to crazy bed hair and have no time to wash it. What hair products do you use to tame your unruly locks?

Firstly I'd take a brush and some hair bands :-) then I'd use the Percy & Reed Finishing Polish as it has a balm like texture that's great for containing fly a ways and simply put my hair up in a bun or a plait :-)

8. Your friend wants to expand her makeup collection and asks for your help. What high street product and what high end product do you recommend her to try?

I would introduce her to some of my favourite High Street foundations because I think there's some amazing ones out there, like Healthy Mix and Color Stay. For High End I would introduce her to some of the amazing eye shadow palette's like the Urban Decay Naked palette's and the Too Faced palettes.

I hope you all enjoyed this post as much as I had writing it :-)

I TAG you all to join in!

REVIEW: Sleek - Blush By 3 - Pumpkin

Hullo Ladies!

Recently I bought three of the Sleek Blush By 3 palettes and today I'll be reviewing Pumpkin which is one that's been on my Wishlist for over a year.

When I first heard about the Blush By 3 palettes, Pumpkin was the one that really called out to me and after reading reviews after reviews of it I knew that I needed it in my life.

Then when I finally found a Sleek Counter I chickened out and went for Lace instead that looked easier to use.

Although I love Lace and used it well since last April I was still gutted that I didn't pick up Pumpkin too.

Pumpkin comes with three blushes - One that's shimmer, One that's Satin and One that's Matte.

Like all Sleek Packaging it comes in a thin matte black casing that's easy to travel with and is also very durable.

P Pie is the first shade and it's a red coral with gold shimmer

Squash is a blue toned pink with a gorgeous sheen.

Lantern is a bright orange matte.

I couldn't find a dupe for P Pie.

I did notice that Squash is a dupe for the Sleek Single Blush I own called Flamingo.

After looking online a lot of bloggers say that Lantern is a dupe for the Limited Edition blush that sleek came out with called Aruba. I was gutted I missed out on Aruba so I was delighted to here that a dupe of it was in this palette.

Blended.

After using this palette for a few weeks I'm delighted to say it's as pigmented and long lasting as all the other Sleek blushes I own.

They last all day on me and although the colours can look scary in the palette as long as you learn how much of a light hand you need then they can look amazing on any skin tone.

I'm so happy I finally bought this palette, this and the other Blush By 3 palettes are my 'go to' blushes lately!

Have you tried the line? Which one is your favourite?!

Collective Haul - Soap and Glory, Urban Decay, Maybelline Vivid's, Models Own + More

Hullo Lovely Ladies!

I went shopping earlier this week and bought a few lovely and exciting things that I thought I'd show you!

I picked up my favourite hair dye in ASDA the LIVE Colour XXL in Red Passion, and they have the Health and Beauty Event going on at the moment so a lot of beauty products are on offer. I picked up the Tresemme Freeze Hold Hairspray for around £3, the Garnier Moisture Match Ultra Hydrating moisturizer for £3 and the Gillette Satin Care Touch of Olay Shaving Gel for about £2.

Next I went to Boot's and bought some Soap and Glory as they had a 3 for 2 offer running.

I picked of the Foam Call Body Wash which I'm really excited to try because I love the smell and I'm hoping to get better bubbles than the Sugar Crush Shower Gel.

I also bought the Glad Hair Day Shampoo and Conditioner which I haven't heard much about to be honest but have always been interested in trying it. I can imagine that Soap and Glory would do an amazing Hair Care Range!

I also picked up a Charlie Chic Body Spray as It was on offer and I like to keep them in my handbag for days when I don't feel like wasting my perfume. Smells lovely!

As you may have noticed I caved and bought the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. All those beautiful swatches and eye looks bloggers have been posting lately made me decide to take the plunge. I withheld from buying the second palette and the basics palette but now I have the first and the third! I'm really enjoying it so far. I bought it from Debenhams.com and found a 10% off code on HOTUKDEALS

I also stopped in TK Maxx and found some Models Own nail polishes in Catherine Wheel, Indian Ocean, Sparkler and Utopia.

Then back in ASDA I also found the only Maybelline Vivid's lipstick (from the line that was released in the UK) that I don't own in Hot Plum for £5!  I love it :-)

The last two things I bought was these cute socks from Dorothy Perkins for £1.50 and a Sylvia Day book called Don't Tempt Me from ASDA

Have you bought anything recently? Have you caved like me and bought the new Naked palette?

Perfect Palette TAG!

Hullo Ladies!

I've been meaning to do this TAG for a few months now after watching some of the Youtube Beuaty Guru's do them. It's such a fun, quick TAG to do and I've really enjoyed choosing my answers!

A small warning, this post contains a lot of Urban Decay!!

1. Best Packaging

Urban Decay Smoked Palette

I know that a lot of the answer to this question is a palette that's bright, has great graphics or when you open it up a unicorn pops out or whatever but I decided to be boring and say that the best packaged palette in my eyes is the Smoked palette. Why? It's safe. There's no magnet's keeping it shut, it's hard and durable and I feel like if I dropped it, the eye shadow's would stay whole. I also feel like it looks very smart, expensive and kinda sexy ;-) I love it!

2. Best Color Payoff

Urban Decay Naked Palette

This was the first high end palette I ever bought/owned and I was just amazed at how pigmented and smooth the shadows were.

3. Most Versatile

Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Palette

This palette contains both bright, dark and neutral shadows which makes it very versatile.

4. Best for Traveling

Too Faced Natural Eye Palette

This is a great palette for traveling. It's small but manages to contain nine different shadows which gives you a lot of choices when traveling!

5. Biggest Regret

The Body Shop Silver Black Palette

I bought this in the sale so I wasn't out of money or anything but I was actually pretty disappointed with it. Why? It's messy and the color payoff isn't that great. I find the matte colours hard to blend and the glitter goes everywhere!

6. Best Color Names

Too Faced Natural Eye Palette

One of the things that attracted me to this palette was the names! Super awesome names such as - Silk Teddy, Velvet Revolver, Cocoa Puff and Honey Pot!

7. Least Used

Too Faced Insurance Policy Palette

Sadly, my Least Used palette is also a Too Faced palette. I don't really have an explanation for it though. I just never seem to pick it up when I'm doing my makeup. I'll have to try and use it more. It's a cute little palette with some lovely colors!

8. Most Used, Most Loved, Desert Island

Urban Decay Naked Palette

Like I said early Naked was my first high end eye shadow palette and at the time it was probably the most talked about beauty product on Youtube. It took me a long time to finally get the guts to spend £37 on one eye shadow palette but boy was it worth it. I bought this around two years ago and for the first year and a half I used at least one shadow from it everyday. Probably more than one really. I've taken this with me on various holidays and I've never felt that it was missing something and I always managed to create different looks. This is definitely my Most Used, Most Loved and what I'd want with me on a Dessert Island.

What's your favourite palette? Also what palette have you been lusting after. I've been wanting the Nude Tude Palette from TheBalm :-)

I TAG you all!
