NOTD - Barry M - Blue Moon and Blog Award

Hullo lovely ladies.

This is what I have been wearing today :-)

It's Barry M's Blue moon which I picked up on my latest shopping trip.

I was very excited to try this one because I have heard lot's about it.  It's a lovely light pastel blue colour.

It has slight blue shimmer running through it but like Barry M's Dusky Mauve, you can't really notice it once it's on the nails.

Typical of a pastel colour, the first two layers were quite sheer but by the third it was smooth and opaque.

This is a great polish for spring and summer!

As I am so pale some light colours don't look great on me *I'm talking to you Peach Melba* but I really like this! Yay!

This polish was £2.99 from Boot's :-)

I have been given another Kreativ Blogger Award from Demi Mist, she has a wonderful blog and does some amazing tutorials so go check her out :-) http://www.beautyandthemist.com

Hope you have all had a great weekend :-)

Thanks, Linzi xx

Barry M - Shocking Pink :-)

Hullo Ladies,

A quick post today :-)

This is Shocking Pink from Barry M.

This is a very bright, bold, barbie pink.

Its a cream finish and very pigmented. This was just two coats.

I have quite a big Barry M collection now, not long ago I picked up Fuchsia by Barry M and this is very similar. I think Fuchsia might have a bit more of a purple tone to it.

Do you love to wear bold pinks like this? Have a favourite?

Thanks, Linzi xx

REVIEW - The Body Shop - Satsuma Beautifying Oil

Hullo Beautiful people!

I'm writing a review today on The Body Shop's new Beautifying Oil in Satsuma. They state on the bottle that it moisturizes, smooths and illuminates.

I ordered this last month and have been using it in different ways these last few weeks, It says that you can use it on your face, body and hair.

As a person with naturally greasy hair I have not tried using it that way but I have tried it on both my body and my face, most importantly on my stretch marks.

Yes that's right my stretch marks, a lot of people have them and we all strive to prevent the possibility of any more or at least make the ones we have less visible.

As a child I suffered with Juvenile Arthritis, which many people don't know a lot about. When you think of Arthritis many of us think of older people but I was diagnosed at the age of 12. It restricted my exercise and social life and from the ages of 12 - 15 I understandably put on some weight, causing me to gain stretch marks. Thankfully my arthritis is in remission at the moment, although I still have aches and pains every so often my life is a whole lot more sociable and I've grown more comfortable with my size.

Like many people though I have my insecurities, one of them being my stretch marks. I have tried Bio- oil and other various products and they had no effect.

I wouldn't say this product is a miracle cure for stretch marks but the last few weeks I have been using it I found that my marks have become considerably lighter which is a big plus.

I also tried this on my face but in the day the oil just melted my make up away and at night it just felt too greasy on my temperamental and easily spotty face.

So I will keep using this for my stretch marks in hope that it will prevent any more and keep lightening the ones I already have.

I find this sinks into my skin very fast which is a great plus for when you want to use it in the morning, I would wait about five to ten minutes before getting dressed.

These are priced at £9.00 on The Body Shop website but seem to be on offer a lot :-)

You get a 100ml of product which I think is fair if your using on just one part of your body but I can imagine it being used up rather quickly if you like to use it everywhere.

No doubt they will be bringing out bigger bottles later, like their Shower Gels and Body Butters.

The only complaint I have about this is that it would be a lot easier to use if it had a spray top.

I would recommend this to anyone and if your thinking about getting this then the only difficult thing you have to do now is choose what scent you prefer!

Have you tried this from The Body Shop? How do you use it?

Thanks, Linzi xx

Recent Buys! :-)

My Nan took me shopping again today *God I love that woman :-)* and this is all the stuff I picked up! I also had a small package delivered this morning which I was very excited about...keep reading to find out what it was!
The box that all my new products are standing on, I bought today from TKMAXX for £3.99 and it's going to be the storage for my nail polishes! It's so pretty but the pictures are not doing it any justice!

Sally Hansen's Maximum Growth Nail Treatment :-)  This is supposed to give visible growth in one week! Let's hope hehe

I'm pretty sure this was £4 something but I can't find the receipt sorry!

From Outlet, I picked this up thinking it was £3 down from £8.50 and then I went to the counter and it was actually only £2. Amazing :-)

£1.75 at Outlet :-)

I'm pretty sure that these are my first Rimmel polishes :-0

I got Hot Shot and Purple Pulse and they where reduced to just £1.04 at Asda Direct. Not all the Rimmel Polishes where on sale I just found these in the little red clearance box that was beside the nail care section.

"Bourjois Lip Gloss in 46 Rose Lyric"

I picked up this amazing Bourjois Set from TKMAXX which was just £7.99 from a lip gloss, blusher and nail polish!

"Bourjois Nail Polish  1 Seconde No.15"
Such a pretty glitter pink :-)
The brush on this is amazing by the way so I will be doing a review soon talking about it :-)

"Bourjois Blush in Rose De Jaspe"

I've always wanted a bourjois blusher because they have had so many great reviews and so many pretty colours but found the price a bit too steep for a drugstore brand so I'm so happy I found this set!

"Swatch of the Bourjois lip gloss and Bourjois blush"

"Barry M Blue Moon £2.99"
Pale pastel blue with a small hint of blue shimmer!

"China Glaze in For Audrey"
Yes that's right!
I bought my first China Glaze polish!!! << See the excitement?
I can't wait to try this, having heard so much about China Glaze :-)

This is a tribute to the beautiful Audrey Hepburn. I will be doing a review for you very soon. This is supposed to be a close copy of Tiffiny's famous colour, It's a lovely robin egg blue!

I bought this from Amazon for £5.95 with free P+P, I think these are going to be my new Splurge products, only to be bought when I want to spoil myself hehe

Hope you are all having a great weekend so far!

Thanks, Linzi xx

REVIEW- Barry M - Black Multi Glitter

Hullo Ladies!

I'm reviewing one of Barry M's new nail paints today in Black Multi Glitter.

This is a beautiful black nail polish with a heck load of glitter, it can be slightly gritty on the nails once dried so I would definitely use a top coat of some kind.

What really amazed me about this nail paint is its pigmentation, I have Barry M's Black nail paint and a find it quite sheer so I apply atleast three coats before I'm happy with how my nails look.....with this It just took one coat to look amazing! Yep that's right...the pictures your looking at right now, have just ONE coat of nail polish on them!

Look how pretty all that glitter is, I swear every time I paint my nails I notice a different colour glitter :-)

I tried it with a matte top coat and loved the out come, it looks so chic and original. I felt almost sexy ;-)

If your looking for a black polish but don't want something that might becoming boring after the first days wear then this is for you!

GOSH Miss Sweety - Barry M Black Multi Glitter - BM20 plate.

I also found out that it's great for nail art because its so blinking pigmented :-)

Have you tried any of Barry M's new polishes? Which ones your favourite?

Thanks, Linzi xx

"Your Blog Is Great" Award and NOTD

Hullo Lovely Ladies :-)

Every time I type that I say it in a Russian accent for some reason probably because of the Meerkat Ad's haha

So tomorrow I have this Practice Job Interview with my job agency, so to get into the mood I have been looking for a good work safe nude polish to wear and I think I have found a few.

This is one of them that I'm going to be wearing for the next few days :-)

This is a George polish and its called Pinball Its a lovely beige creme with a hint of pink, great for my pale skin.
It has great coverage in just two coats, dried fast and was quite glossy without a top coat.
It was only £1 on offer, so a great bargain buy!

Also I'm feeling a bit better today, one of the reasons why is because I have been given another blog award by the lovely and beautiful Demi Mist :-) If you haven't checked out her blog already and you love makeup tutorials then your really need too :-) http://www.beautyandthemist.com/

I award this to :

Hope you all have a great day :-)

Thanks, Linzi xx
