The Body Shop Sale Haul

Hi Ladies!

This one is really late as the sales been over for awhile now but as The Body Shop always have great deals on I thought It would still be an interesting Haul to show you :-) 

I love a good Body Shop Sale and the recent one didn't disappoint. 

What I did do though was wait a few weeks until right at the end of the sale so that they would bring out a coupon code to take an extra 40% off all products including the sale! 

The first few things I picked up was the Blueberry Limited Edition line. 

I got the shower gel for £1.80, the Body Scrub for £3 and the Lip Butter for £1.80. 

They all smell really good! 

I also picked up a few more things from the Tea Tree line which is my go to skin care line. 

I picked up the new Tea Tree BB Cream, the Squeaky Clean Scrub and the Skin Clearing Lotion.

I can tell you now that the BB Cream is going to be a re-purchase! It's amazing. I'm hoping to do a review soon. 

These products were not in the sale but I got them for 40% off with the coupon code! 

The last thing I bought in the sale was this Lip Butter LolliPop. 

With the Extra 40% off I only payed £6 for it!! 

I've wanted to try all these for ages! 

When I first started buying from The Body Shop one of my first purchases was the Sweet Lemon Lip Butter and I loved it because it smelt like lemon cheesecake. 

They've discontinued the line now but I've been wanting to try the other scents as I've heard lots of great things about them. So far I've only tried the Shea and Mango but I already adore them! 

So those are my recent Body Shop purchases :-)

Have you bought anything from them recently? The next thing I want to pick up is the Honey Bronzer! Apparently the lightest one is amazing for pale ladies like me :-)

REVIEW - New Revlon Lip Butter - Juicy Papaya

Hullo Lovely Ladies :-)

I'm reviewing one of the new Lip Butters that Revlon released recently. This one is Juicy Papaya. 

It's a sheer orange toned coral. 

I have to say I love the texture of the Lip Butters and also how great they can look on the lips.

To be honest though,  I was pretty disappointed with myself for picking up the sheerest two lip butters from the new collection.  Due to having very pigmented lips I've always been a fan of bright opaque colours so I don't really know where my head was going when I decided to pick up Pink Lemonade and Juicy Papaya.

Out of them both I much prefer Juicy Papaya, It at least has some pigmentation.

Sorry about the dry skin on my lips, I seem to be constantly having trouble with them lately. I'll have to start carrying around my Burts Bees lip balm again. That always sorts it :-) 

 I've found with all the Lip Butters I own, they look best when your lips are in good condition.

I actually like this for days when I have a strong smokey eye as it's subtle with a hint of coral. I will use it up but I know for future reference to pick up the more brighter colours from the line. 

I really like the look of Wild Watermelon and Sorbet.

REVIEW - Revlon Lip Butter - Sweet Tart

Recently I picked up some of my first Revlon Lip Butters!

After putting it off for so long, I got fed up of reading all the amazing reviews! I needed to see what all the fuss was about! 

I now have four in my collection so I'll probably be reviewing all of the soon. I'm going to start off with one of my favourites -  Sweet Tart. 

Revlon Lip Butters give high shine and sheer colour. 

Sweet Tart is a gorgeous pop of pink. 

Although they're very glossy I find they do stick to the dry skin on your lips so I find it's best to exfoliate my lips and wear a lip balm underneath if I want them to look their best. 

I find that they last about an hour on my lips before I feel the need to reapply  Although this doesn't annoy me so much as I love applying lip products anyway it does mean I'll probably go through the product quickly. 

As I have naturally pigmented lips I find all of the Lip Butters need a good few swipes before they come close looking like they do in the tube.  

I'm glad I bought Sweet Tart and I'm thinking about investing in some more revlon lip butters, maybe buy a nice red one next time!

Testing The Hype! - Nivea Lip Butter in Raspberry Rose

Hey Ladies :-)

I'm the type of person that likes to keep four or five lip balms in her handbag, so after seeing these Nivea Lip Butters popping up on 'Favourite Post's' everywhere....I had to see what the fuss was about!

I've been using it for a few days now so I've decided to review it and tell you if I think it's worth the hype or not. 

After having a sniff of them in Superdrug I decided on the Raspberry Rose, to me it smells like strawberry Starburst's or something of the like. It's a very sweet berry scent, which I adore!

I know that some people may not like it though and apparently Nivea did too as they also brought out a few other scents and one that is unscented. 

This product, although looking very pink in the container, has no true colour pay off on the lips but if I use a liberally amount it can lighten my natural lip colour. 

I'm careful with the amount I put on though as the product is quite a heavy formula.

This lip butter lasts around an hour on me depending on food and drink consumption, which can be a downfall as I've used other lip care products that have lasted a lot longer on my lips. 

Another downfall is that I do not think It moisturizes my lips as much as my favourite lip balms. Although if you do not suffer with very dry lips like I do this may not be a problem too you.

 In the summer I doubt it will be a problem to me either! :-P

One thing I like about it is the price, at £1.49 for 16.7g of product, it's half the price of my other lip balms. 

All in all I actually quite like this product and although it isn't perfect, I have to give respect to Nivea for bringing out an inexpensive and unique lip treatment. 

I'm glad I picked up this product, it's lovely to just throw on in the day time, without having to give it much thought and I always enjoy it's gorgeous scent.....although It has made me crave some Starburst's! 

In my eyes I believe it to be worth the hype as it's inexpensive, has a good amount of product and smells wonderful.  It's definitely going in my handbag with my other lip balms!

The one thing I wish they had done was include an SPF. I think that would have made it even better in my eyes.
