Lush Boxing Day Haul

Hullo!

After spending most of Boxing Day trying to get on the LUSH website I managed to pick up a few lovely gift sets!

By the time I made my order a lot of things had gone out of stock but I was lucky enough to pick up four gift sets that I'm super excited to start using.

The first set I bought was the ButterBear Tin Set that came with 6 butterbears!
I love this bath bomb! It's just like the regular lines Butterball but in the shape of a bear. Super cute and great for those dry skin days as they're full of Shea butter.

The Home For Christmas Set came with a 100ml bottle of Rose Jam, a Old Father Time Bar of soap and a pot of Dream Cream Body lotion. I love the Rose Jam shower gel so I happy about having that and I've been meaning to pick up a pot of dream cream. I'm not much of a fan of the soap so I've gifted it to my father who seems to like it.

The Merry Christmas Gift Set comes with some lovely Christmas Bath Bombs and a Bubble Bar. It includes the Lord Of Misrule BathBomb, Dashing Santa Bath Bomb, Cinders Bath Bomb, Golden Wonder Bath Bomb and the Peeping Santa Bubble Bar.

The Snow Fairy Castle Gift set came with the 100ml bottle of Snow Fairy Shower Gel, a So White Bath Bomb, a Magoc Wand Bubble Bar and 50g of the Fairy Dust Dusting Powder.

So that's all I got from the sales!!

Did you manage to pick anything up?

LUSH - Bar Humbug Bubble Bar - REVIEW

I'm writing a quick review of the Bar Humbug Bubble Bar from Lush.

I was super excited to try this bubble bar, it smells like liquorice and looks amazing!

I cut mine in half for two baths but I think you could definitely cut it into three peices as it creates lots and lots of lovely bubbles. I was just feeling greedy!

I instantly fell in love with this bubble bar as I started running it under the tap, it turned my bath water purple and I loved the slight amount of silver shimmer running through the water, just enough to look pretty.

The scent is strong but not headache inducing, just enough to stay with you through out your bubble bath!

I'll definitely be picking up a few more bars before the Christmas stock disappears!

Have you tried Bar Humbug? Are you hoping for anything from LUSH for Christmas?

LUSH Halloween and Christmas Haul

Hello Lovely Ladies!

I apologise for being away so long, some of you may know that my mother is very ill and I'm her full time carer so I don't have a lot of time in the day anymore but I've missed blogging so I'm going to try hard to write about my favourite things again!

So as most of you may know, LUSH recently released their Halloween and Christmas range which I was super excited for! It's my favourite time of year to shop at lush.

From the Christmas Range This year I made sure to purchase a big bottle of the famous Rose Jam Shower Gel. I didn't bother getting a bottle last year and really regretted it. This year they're making 1kg sizes of our favourite shower gels so I invested in one! I'm in love with the scent.

The next thing I bought was the Bar Hum bug Bubble Bar which I was dying to try, it's liquorice scented. I can't wait to crumple it up in the tub and enjoy a gorgeous purple bath.

Next is the Yog Nog Bath Bomb, I adorned the soap last year so I was really excited and happy to see them release something else with the same scent. Everyone's raving about this one on Instagram! It has little melts on the inside so it's supposed to be super moisturising. I hope they release a shower gel with the same scent at some point!

I also bought a Peeping Santa bubble bar which I've never tried, it's very fruity/sweet scented! It's lovely and bigger than what I expected which is always a good thing!

I made sure to pick up a Cinders bath bomb which was one of the first lush products I ever tried! It's a gorgeous 'Christmasy' scent with star anise and clove. It also has popping candy! I love to use this on Bonfire Night!

Next is the Magic Of Christmas Bubble Bar, I was again really excited to hear about this release, it's a lot sweeter and less spicier than I expected it to be but again it's a gorgeous scent that I can't wait to use.

The last thing I bought from the Christmas Range was the Holly-Go-Lightly Bubble Bar which was my favourite last year! If you know the scent Hot Toddy from LUSH, that's what this smells like! I was gutted to hear they wouldn't be bringing out the Hot Toddy Shower Gel this year but this bubble bar made up for it! It's very big so you can have about four baths and it makes the water bright green!

Onto the products I bought from the Halloween Range.

This year they brought out the Lord Of Misrule Shower Gel along with the bath bomb so I made sure to buy a big bottle, it's a really interesting and addictive spicy scent! I love it. The bath bomb is amazing!! If you haven't tried it yet I suggest you pick it up if you pass a store soon.

I also managed to pick up a Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar which has a gorgeous fruit scent, it's a gorgeous products but it gets gold lister EVERYWHERE! I don't mind though! :)

So that's everything I've bought from LUSH so far, I'm hopefully going to pick up a few more things from the Christmas range soon, including a big bottle of Snow Fairy!

Have you bought anything from the LISH winter range? What's your favourite so far?!

Collective Yankee Candle Haul

Hullo Ladies!

It's been a long time since I've posted anything on this blog. My mothers been very ill lately and I haven't got as much free time as I used to so blogging has had to be put on hold for the last few months.

Recently though I felt the need to write about my latest addiction which is Yankee Candles.

I bought my first Yankee Candle just before Christmas called Snowflake Cookie and loved it but since then I've bought many more!

Cappuccino Truffle is one of thier latest releases for 2015 and it smells amazing. It's reminds me of the Thornton's Cappuccino chocolates which I used to buy a bag of every time I went shopping in West Wales when I was younger.

Smelling it from the jar it seems very strong, I don't know how well it burns yet though. I can't wait to find out :-)

Another new scent for 2015 Pain Au Raisin is a gorgeous bakery scent. I didn't know what to think about this scent which is why I chose the tart form. I melted it last night though and bought the large jar of it online this morning. It smells so good, my bedroom smells like a bakery right now!

A few weeks ago I bought a medium size jar of Summer Scoop which I'm excited to burn in the warmer months because it smells like raspberry ripple ice cream!

Another new scent from Yankee Candle Red Raspberry is a gorgeous fruity raspberry jam scent.
When I first smelt it in the store I wasn't too fussed but I couldn't stop smelling it whenever I passed. If you'rr a fan of fruity scents it's definitely one you should try.

Strawberry Buttercream is a popular scent from Yankee Candle, I've been burning this a lot lately and everyone who's come into the house has commented on it. It's a very sweet strawberry's and cream scent. The smell fills a large room too which is always a great thing, so I burn it in my living room.

Jelly Beans is an Easter Limited Edition scent and it smells like a bag of Jelly Belly Jelly Beans. Which I LOVE! I've always been a big fan of Jelly Beans so I knew this one was meant to be mine. It's such a pretty Jar though I'm scared to burn it! Haha!

Last but not least is Sweet Strawberry which I've been meaning to pick up for ages! Its a gorgeous sugary strawberry scent. It will be interesting to see how powerful this candle is, I can't wait to burn it :-)

Even though some of the time I get my Yankee Candles from a store I also buy most of them on Amazon and Ebay at a great discount so shop around if you're looking to buy one!

What's your favourite Yankee Candle?

Mine happens to be Christmas Cookie but Pain Au Raisin is quickly becoming a new favourite.

My Top Festive Films To Get You Ready For Christmas

Hullo!

It's still November but I'm already watching Christmas Movies. I have so many I love so I'm going to talk about a few that will definitely put you in the mood for Christmas if you're feeling rather Scrooge-ish!

First up is Home Alone.

A classic that never fails to please. My brother and I can literally quote it word for word when we watch it now because we've seen it so many times!

Next is ELF :-)

You can't go wrong with a Will Farrell movie!

I adore this film, it's centered around "Buddy The Elf" a human adopted by elves, who decides to find his biological father who to his horror happens to be on the Naughty List!!!

The Grinch

I could literally watch this movie all year round and not care if my family thought I was insane! Jim Carrey is amazing in this film. If you haven't seen it yet then make sure you do this Christmas!

I also suggest reading the book, young and old are able to appreciate the genius that is Dr Seuss :-)

The Muppets Christmas Carol

Another film that's part of my families Christmas traditions!

My brother and I make sure to sit down and watch this one at least once in the month of December...shhhh...don't tell him but I may have already watched it once or twice already this year!

So those are my top Christmas movie picks that are definitely going to get you ready for the big day
:-)

What's your favourite Christmas Movie?

Christmas Wishlist 2014

Hullo Ladies!

That time of year again is fast approaching and these last few weeks I've been thinking about what I want for Christmas :-)

Topshop Lip & Cheek Set

I've been dying to try the Topshop Makeup Range but I've never had the chance, I went onto the website the other day having a little browse and noticed that they had brought out these cute little Lip & Cheek sets that I think would be perfect for someone like me who hasnt tried anything from the range yet :-)

Soap & Glory Gloss Crayons Gift Set

I wanted to pick up last years version of this set but never managed it! I later bought Nudest on a three for two offer and fell in love so I'm hoping to finally get the set this year!

Starbucks Festive Mug

I love a good Christmas Mug to drink my Hot Chocolate in and I adore this Starbucks Design!

Soap & Glory Kohl Set

Soap and Glory have upped their game this year with the makeup sets and I'm dying to try out their eyeliners so this gift set would be a perfect way to do just that!

LUSH Christmas Bathtime Favourites Set

You may not know this but lately I've become obsessed with LUSH and this Gift Set looks so blinking amazing!!! I'm dying to have it!

Snowman Jumper

You have to have a good Christmas Jumper this time of year and this one from ASDA is so cute!

Benefit Cheeky Sweet Spot Box-O-Blushes Set

I think I'll cry if I don't get this amazing set this year. I've always wanted to try the Benefit Blushes but I just find them way too expensive! This set contains a whole bunch of them for a great price! I'm determined that it will be mine :-)

Marc Jacobs Daisy Gift Set

Every year I ask for a perfume set and this year I'm dying to try the original Daisy EDT :-)

 Yankee Candle

Every time I walk into a shop that sells Yankee Candles I spend a good 30 minutes smelling them all but always walk away because of the price tag! This year I'm putting one on my wishlist ;-)

So those are the goodies that I'm wishing for this Christmas!
What have you got your eye on?

REVIEW - LUSH - Cinders Bath Bomb

Hullo Ladies!

Continuing with my LUSH reviews I'm going to talk about Cinders, which was in fact my first LUSH Purchase about two years ago.

Cinders is a spicy scented bath bomb which has popping candy inside it.

It's a smaller bath bomb but packs a punch scent wise. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to smell the gorgeous spiciness once the bomb had gone into the bath but I could smell it for hours afterwards which is great :-)

This bath bomb is from the Christmas Collection and will cost you £2.50

The only thing that may put a downer on your bath is that it obviously turns your water a yellow colour!

I can look over that small fact though and highly recommend this gorgeous ball of goodness.

I recently became fascinated in creating bath cocktails and I think that some gorgeous Hot Toddy Shower Gel and some Yog Nog soap would go stunningly with this bath bomb!

Have you tried this one?

What do you think of it?
